“Titanic in every way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2012

This was our 13 visit to Egypt ,our 2nd visit to the Magnificent TITANIC
We stayed for a month again ,and loved every minute.
This Hotel has everything ,Pools & Sunbeds galore,Lots of space everywhere. 5 restaurants ( 1 adults only) The food was good and always nicely cooked ,I think the Chefs do marvels with the amount we pay for our holiday !! The food included Chicken, Turkey ,Fish , Crab ,Squid ,Quail along with all the usual fare how many of us eat that variety at home ? There is even a Burger and chip Restaurant for the homesick Brits ,,This Hotel also has 6 fabulous Ala Carte Restaurants 1 visit free for each week holiday . I noted some comments of the food not being too hot in these reviews ,this is a hot country who wants scalding hot food ??only the brits !! There is a MICROWAVE for the fussy to use if wanted. One point i must make is Stomach bugs abroad could be avoided if GUESTS paid more attention to personal hygene especially after visiting the toilet ,and you cant just blame the children.
The Hygene and cleanlyness at this Hotel by the staff is second to none
The Managment and staff, work very hard for our Holiday so just come and enjoy it .

We will . See you again in October .

Room Tip: Almost all rooms face a pool so dont worry they all have a nice outlook . If you like a morning di...

Sorry for the belated review! My partner stayed at the Titanic Beach in November 2011.

The hotel is enormous. It is physically linked with its sister hotel the Titanic Palace. They are similar but have different atmospheres and decor.

We arrived into the hotel and checking in was slow. They asked us to take a seat and wait but all we wanted to do was to get to our room. Eventually when we did get checked in we formed a tour party with the other guests to go for a tour of the infinite number of rooms dropping off couples and families as we reached their rooms. This aside once in our room I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was made up of three rooms, a lounge area as you walked in equipped with sofas and a tv, a bathroom with massive shower and a bedroom with an enormous bed, tv and balcony overlooking the pool.

The pools around the hotel are spectacular although in November some were a little cool (you just have to work out which one is heated). However, sunbeds were an issue if you are late sleepers like me and my partner. I soon resolved this issue by either going to the beach or using the empty section between the Titanic Beach and the Palace.

There are shops on site, literally in the middle of the hotel. Be aware of the free tea from the perfume stores though, the water they use may upset our tummy. There are also shops on the road outside the hotel if you need anything or want souvenirs. I also visited the doctor whilst there and he was extremely helpful!

My partner moaned about the food. I thought it was okay. Maybe my expectations are a little lower than his (I am so grateful not to have to prepare and cook it myself!) or maybe I have spoilt him with the wonderful cuisine I produce at home (he is now doubled over in laughter). There are many restaurants (5 main ones including an Adults only) to choose from including in the Palace. The best meal we had was the one A la carte meal which we had in the Italian restaurant on the last night. However, there is no need to go hungry (if you go around to the Palace pool area they cook chips throughout the day).

I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. I would love to go back. My partner has said he won't go back to Egypt - I am now sorting out my friends for a holiday!!

We tansferred from a Nile cruise - 7 hours in a rickety coach so not amused on reaching the hotel. Initial booking in mayhem then trecking en masse round hotel dropping off guests on the way. Exhausted we reached our room and from then on the hotel was perfect. We asked for a ground floor room near the pool and resteraunt and the location was ideal, quiet and perfectly situated. The pool staff were very friendly and helpful, saving sun loungers for us and fetching towels etc. The catering left something to be desired but no one will starve - cold meat, cheese and salad is better served at lunch NOT breakfast but hey ho! The beach bar served really good fast food all day but quite a walk to beach. The weather was surprisingly changeable. On our excursion on Dolphin glass botton boat was excellent but cold on deck. Our visit to Cairo Museum, Giza pyramids and Sphynx was worth the inconvenience of 1am start til 11pm following night.

This is a fantastic hotel, the food is really good, plenty of choice for all tastes, the rooms where spacious and very clean, large plasma tv , not much to watch in english, but you have plenty to do without watching TV !
The pools are so big they go all around the complex, the water park is fab and there is a lovely little park for young children, great pool with pirate boat for young kids, right on the beach, the usuall in hotel entertainment at night, kids disco etc.
Staff are so helpful and all look great in their uniforms.
There are alot of russians at this hotel, dont let this put you off, they wasnt a problem to is at all.Book it you will have a great time !

Room Tip: Ask for one on the right hand side as these get the sun all day, but all the rooms are good they all...

16/03---23/03/2012
Just returned 1 week stay in Palace hotel. This is how I found the whole trip.
Booked with Sunmaster on the web, no problems, booking in at airport(Thomsons) quick & easy, plane what you expect for cheap flight(brand new plane,6hr flight no entertainment at all). Arrival at Hurghada airport a bit chaotic people shouting names and runnjng about, paid |13 pounds each, no choice, for visa.Transfer went ok, driver, bag handler and anybody else that could get in on the act tried to get a tip.
Hotel book in good, people still looking for tips
Hotel grounds, fixtures and fittings probably 4* +, aquapark good not brilliant, wavepool only a ripplepool. Lots of swimming pools in both hotels(you could use all the facilities in either hotel)Dining rooms and staff very good, food probably 3* standard not much variation but what can you expect paying about 125 pounds a week for all inc.5 restaurants of various types to use(1 free per stay), not used but told ok for a change.Drinks Egyptian but plentiful, 24hr bars, some staff a bit moody but all in all ok.Minibar(sort drinks&water only)free.Free safety deposit box and air con. and heating (in Palace)Palace 5* beach4* ?.
Entertainment by animation team average some acts brought in were quite good, Disco on site good games room and bowling alley
Beach quite good, tidal, sea goes out a long way, walked out a long way and along the jetty did`nt see any sea life save for 1 jellyfish and 3 starfishes, think you need to use a boat to get decent snorkling.
Hotel a bit remote, need a taxi to get anywhere if you set the price its very cheap, there are buses and a hotel bus.
Like most other resorts these days it`s not very busy, nobody in the shops, no bars, holidays built around hotels. Trips not cheap,(Luxor about 75 pounds, takes all day).
Maybe it`s the time of the year or maybe they are not getting the visitors like most resorts worldwide, the resort did`nt appear to be even half full, get sunbed anytime, almost anywhere. The weather was always sunny, but the first couple of days there was a quite strong breeze .The pools were very cold hardly used, there were 2 heated pools that were used a lot
Return journey 40 min. delay, but uneventful.
All in all holiday good, nice winter break and good value for money, would I go again? no, not because anything was bad but I never go to the same place twice. If you want full 5* hols you should not go all inc., for the price you pay it is great value........
PS before we booked people said upgrade to the bungalows, if you can get it free maybe, but did`nt see any in use whilst we were there, there are also swim up rooms, they seemed to be mostly empty, the water was very cold so there dos`nt seem any point, maybe later in the season everything warms up??

The hotel itself was very good , the staff were very helpfull , the only downside to the week was the food, not a lot of variety and mostley cold. We both suffered with the Egyptian quick step on various days,Emodium came in very handy. I wouldent recomend this particular hotel for the over sixties, there were plenty of kids and plenty of russians who on the hole were very ignorant and very drunk most of the time, they didnt seem to care where thier kids where or what they were diong as long as it didnt interfer with thier drinking. On the plus side the sister hotel next door was just a two minute walk and we could use thier faccilities.

Room Tip: as a rule this hotel is allinclusive but any probs with room and people were moved on request

Myself and my partner had a wonderful holiday at this hotel last May (2011). We booked through Lowcostholidays who we have used many times and have never had a problem with. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Rooms were also kept clean and serviced on a daily basis. They weren't exceptional rooms but for the price we paid for the entire holiday, we were more than pleased with the holiday overall. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend it. We liked the food and found no reason to complain at all about our AI menu. As scuba divers we both referred Sharm for marine life and reefs, but the Hurghada side of the Red Sea made a pleasant change for us.
