We have just had 5 nights at this truly luxurious hotel after spending time in Aswan and on a Nile cruise.
Why didn't we stay longer ???
It was exactly what one needed after such a busy itinery.
The hotel is set in extensive, well manicured gardens which lead down to a beautifully cared for, well appointed beach.
We were given a large, well furnished suite which had a courtyard, sun beds and table and chairs, we loved it!
We had wonderful service, and excellent food. However, in my experience, the drinks do seem a bit on the high side even for this standard of hotel.
This Oberoi hotel is clearly very well managed and provides its clients with the ability to relax and enjoy all aspects of their stay.
We will return.

Room Tip: We were given room 118 which was near the amenities and a short stroll to the beach. We were very ha...

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and probably the best value for money the comments about the cost of food and drinks are not justified . The Indian food in the restaurant is the best I have ever had and worth every penny . It is easy to find fault if you look hard enough , but I couldn't find any

One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Won't plagiarise what others have written. Superbly managed with exacting standards and we will be back. Yes it's pricy on drinks and food but no more so than other hotels of this standard. Only thing that niggled me was the beach very rocky a d not child friendly. On the upside coral and plenty of fish a few feet in. Broadband pretty much everywhere but speed variable. Not strong enough for live streaming but ok for surfing etc. Superb place and firmly on our favourites list.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
I would like to inform one and all that we will be shortly increasing the speed of the existing complimentary wireless internet at the resort. In addition, we have a very wide and 850 m long sandy beach. The comment on the "rocky beach" refers to the access into the sea. The house reef in front of the hotel beach is a snorkeler's paradise and unrivalled.
The entire team joins me in looking forward to your next stay.

Recently spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel. Stayed in a regular suite and it was extremely nice. It had a lovely private patio with a table and 4 chairs plus 2 chaise loungers and umbrella. It also had a lovely sunken tub and a separate fab shower. Our friends had a suite with a private pool and it was so nice to end our days there. The hotel's main pool was exceptional. We enjoyed wonderful free juice cocktails and water every day. We ate poolside every lunch. The menu varied every 3 days. Especially loved the grilled veggies and the pizza. We ate dinner one night in the Indian restaurant and it was yummy.
The service was top-notch yet not intrusive. We felt extremely pampered yet never bothered.
Cannot wait to return.

This is a truely exceptional hotel for service and very fine food. We stayed a week and loved every minute. The staff are friendly, attentive without being intrusive, the food is second to none. My only tip is unless you are very hungry don't order a starter and a main course at dinner.Although very delicious, the portions are large. Our only small complaint is that the imported wine is ridiculously expensive if you want a bottle. The suites are superb.Every need catered for as is the beach service, more than enough sunbeds and shades for everyone.Bottled water is provided as is suncream daily. We booked through Secret Escapes and had an amazing offer which included one evening three course meal and a 60 min massage. The massage was the best I have had anywhere. This is well and truely a hotel based holiday. If that is not to your liking, I would very grudgingly give this superb hotel a miss. It is quite remote and very relaxing and not for party animals!

Room Tip: We stayed in a superior deluxe suite. Room 407

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your review of our resort. I am pleased that you have carried back fond memories of your stay with us. I would like to add that all imported spirits and wines attract huge duties in Egypt which leaves us no choice to price them the way we do. The Egyptian wines are a very good alternative. We look forward to your next stay.
