A beautifuly styled restaurant on the new marina, I found the service here good but my food was a little underspiced. a former review here is correct that descibed the onion baji's as basically onion rings. I had chicken tikka massala which was nice but for me it was underspiced (even though I don't like hot food), it was just chicken in a tomato based sauce. If I was to visit again I would certainly ask for the spices to be taken up a gear.
I had a good evening here with friends and would come again, but I would make sure I chose the hotter options on the menu

Nothing special & not as good an Indian as the UK or other places abroad. But food was ok, not great.Service was ok but not great. I came here 18 months ago & I agree with the comments elsewhere, it has gone downhill since then.

last year 2011 whilst on vacation in Hurghada we had a fab curry at this place with a great atmosphere all helped along by the manager and his staff - they were great - gave loads of advice on activites they thought we may like even arranging for a guy to come to meet us in the restaurant to book a boat cruize.
After arriving with different friends in same area l boasted about this great place and the friendly staff and manager and a decent curry - so off we went - and me fully confident that l would get a warm welcome and probably a hug from them all as lm sure they couldnt forget my last visit as we were a little loud with our singing (all done in the best possible taste you know) ha ha ha - and the antics of the "red bull" chase - a game we made up
Well bugger me - it had all changed and l felt like a fish out of water - nobody that l knew or even recognized was there no friendly smile no welcome bugger all actually - l felt such a tit when l asked if it had changed ownership and were are the usual guys just to be told they had moved on due to cut backs - hell fire the place was heaving with people what bloody cut backs could they have there? ?
Anyway it felt a little frostie there - so we had a walk further up and ate at a great Nubian place - lve decided l dont like change not always a good thing to go back to what you have already experienced before when its changed so much - not the building thats the same the tables inside and out are the same - just not the people - and people make a place worth visiting - didnt get to see the chefs so dont know if theyve changed either so maybe a good job we went elsewhere - --- thats all folkes
