Booked this hotel as like to stay in smaller hotels. This seemed perfect as offered spa facilities and was small hotel and the rate of $95 per night gave the impression that we would have a little bit of luxury. Hotel location is difficult for taxis etc to locate - it took 20 mins for our taxi driver to find out where it was! It was very quiet, in fact we thought we were the only guests. Breakfast was extremely poor - stale bread, egg and cheese served at table (no buffet breakfast). Facilities very basic in the room - no hairdryer, no toiletries - important for us as divers as we travel light. The spa and the gym weren't operational - there was no staff there, and the sauna wasn't working. This may have been due to lack of guests. The reception staff spoke limited English so it took 10 minutes to get a pool towel. On check out 3 different credit cards failed and so we had 10 minute walk to nearest bank to pay the bill - so be warned their payment facilities are terrible. We were due to check back in the following week and instead cancelled and got a booking at the Marriott half board for $110 per night. In the hotels defence they did say at one point they were undergoing refurbishment and the manager did try to win favour by leaving an over ripe basket of fruit in our room at 10pm the night before we left!!!
