From the first moment you enter this stunning hotel and being personally welcomed sitting in a luxurious bar with a welcome drink, to the time you depart being individually thanked for your stay by the superb manager, Mr. Mohammed Saeed, everything is done to make your stay perfect.
We stayed for the last 2 weeks in April under cloudless skies and wonderful temperatures. The private beach is beautifully situated with more than enough sunbeds and shades for everyone. Everyday was made special by Ibrahim and Ahmed who always ensured we had drinks as required plus after having coffee at 11am on the first day (very British ! ) it was delivered to us everyday at 11 thereafter. This all led to a really great atmosphere with a general friendliness existing between guests of all nationalities.
Food in the restaurant was excellent with a really good variety to cater for all tastes, and although we didn't need to ask, special requests were happily dealt with by the chefs who were genuinely wanting to please. Special mention must go to Romany who was always there to top up with wine, coffee or give other help at every meal ... so efficient and happy to help. Snack lunch at the outside bar was always freshly cooked and so took a little time from ordering but worth waiting for, and efficiently served by Ahmed with a smile .... and anyway what's the rush when on a relaxing holiday like this !
Cleanliness and furnishings were second to none throughout the hotel as mentioned in so many other reports. Particularly our room was spotless thanks to Eid and his amazing "towel sculptures".
Reception staff always had a friendly smile and we found helpful in everyway, particularly Amr.
Finally we cannot speak highly enough of the manager, Mr. Mohammed, we have never known a manager to be so visible and available to guests. Any problem once brought to his attention is sorted out wherever possible and our experience of his kindness and generosity regarding our wedding anniversary will certainly ensure our return to this unforgettable hotel.
If you want a quiet, totally relaxing, sunshine filled, 5 star service, holiday then this is it. If you have been before then we expect you will go again ... we can't wait !

We loved our first stay at Premier Romance and our second visit did not disappoint us.
The wonderfully elegant hotel was spotlessly clean at all times and it was a lovely experience relaxing in the impressive marble surroundings taking advantage of the free wifi before dinner.
The beautifully maintained bedrooms all have sea views from their balconies and the bathroom facilities are of matching quality.
The restaurant offers a great variety of freshly prepared food and we really enjoyed our three meals a day with the help of the attentive and charming staff.
The cleanliness is mirrored on the beach just a few steps from the front door of the hotel and our needs were looked after wonderfully well by Sabi and the team of waiters and other attendants.
We have to make special mention of Mena and Mustafa who were so conscientious in meeting all our needs on the beach and in the bar.
The management team meet guests via a weekly cocktail party and the one small issue I did raise with them was dealt with and satisfied without delay. They really do want every guest to be happy!
We would recommend also, the whole body massage offered by the health spa facilities
Our two weeks flew by and we look forward to our next visit.

Just returned from two weeks at this hotel. I agree with the other positive comments and confirm that you will be pleased with this choice of hotel and location. Only 80 rooms so the place is never too busy so you get special treatment. The Romance is spotlessly clean with the best décor you will find in a package hotel, the gardens and beach (the best part of the bay) are well laid out and looked after, and many passers-by from nearby hotels stop to take photo's of the Romance. Mr Mohammed the manager runs a good team who are all very friendly and attentive which made our holiday special. Ibrahim, Sabry and Ahmed who looked after us on the beach and Adham in the Lobby bar who makes the perfect drinks, also a special mention for Romany in the Restaurant who works so hard to make your dining a good experience. The hotel could be improved by having a shower on the beach to use after sea swimming, we used the one in the next section of beach as the one across the road is too far. I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel.

Room Tip: All premium rooms have a sea view

We booked on the internet through thompsons and all went well, flights and transfers were fine.
The hotel was what we wanted and expected, about 80 rooms, very clean and nice ,and nicely decorated.
The beach was right on the door step and some coral, being in a bay it was very calm and easy for swiming.
There is a promanade so you can walk each was and look at mainley buildings half built to be hotels in the future, but work is stopped at the moment with the recession.
This hotel is very quiet there are others near by which are busy and noisey but are a little distance away.
We had a sea veiw room 1105 just off the reception and on the first floor,
The pool on 2nd floor is very quiet with a jacuzzi and sauna, the gym is next to it but very small, then the beauty rooms. The pool water is freezing.
The food was ok for egypt standard, there is always something to find, but we did find some food cold!
We went to the a la carte itilian and had fillet steak which was excelent it was my husbands birthday and he got a cake and the waiters sang!
The snack bar at lunch was very good but a little slow. chips n burgers , pizzas and pasta yummy.
The drinks were fine, plenty of vino and cocktails.
The staff are a credit to the hotel, very well trained and got to know us personally, the beach/towel men were lovely , Arhmed and his mate, in the resturant Romany kept us in drinks, and Arhmed at the snack bar, all the staff were great.
Our room cleaner ead perfect and always making towel art.
The staff did apriciate the tips they worked very long hours, and always smiling.
We met the manager at his cocktail evening and you can see that he wants the hotel the be the best in egypt,
We drank lots of water with it being very hot and we didnt get any tummy upsets, thats a first in egypt...

We hope to visit again sometime, thankyou to all at premier hotel if you read this.

We booked through Inspired Escapes and found them pleasant and efficient. Here is our opinion on this gem of hotel in the Red Sea.

The Hotel: We had high expectations and we weren't disappointed. The lobby is stunning, decorated to a high standard, making good use of marble, beautiful lights and adorned with fresh lilies. As an added bonus the Wifi is free to use in the lobby and lounge.

Bedrooms: We had a deluxe room with a full sea view. The rooms are very well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated. I loved the bathroom with the glass wall, great for showering with a sea view, there is a blind if you prefer a bit of privacy! Toiletries are supplied but, ladies, you will need a hair conditioner as that was not supplied. There is a tv, but we never watch tv on holiday.

Lounges: There are 2, one of which is a smoking lounge / bar, again decorated to a high standard. The second lounge is attached to the restaurant, comfy chairs and wifi coverage. There is a comprehensive list at the bar of the drinks which are part of the all inclusive. The hotel created a new bar menu while we were there, it is a big improvement over the previous one as it now has the 'all inclusive' options at the front and the premium options at the back. About the premium drinks, the selection is good and the prices are great, between 40p (40LE) and £1.20 (120LE) per drink.

Buffet restaurant: the food here is amazing - we ate so many dishes I have never even heard of. There is always a huge choice of breads, 2 soups, salads, and many hot dishes including a griddle for freshly fried meat and seafood. The restaurant staff were amazing in particular Mahmoud A. Elaziz and Romany. They always came with our favourite drinks even before we asked. The reason we remember these two chaps so affectionately is that they were both friendly, always had a smile and took time to get to know us throughout our stay. The dessert selection was impressive and tasty and if you prefer ice cream you only have the ask the waiter who will bring delicious creamy ice cream. Lunch and breakfast was equally delicious and again a great variety. We were impressed that they tried to accommodate the brits love of bacon with their own version of beef bacon (it works well and shows a genuine sensitivity to the preferences of us Brits).

Pool: we only went once as we are beach lovers but it was lovely there is a jacuzzi, sauna, shower and bar available. If the Jacuzzi cover is on just ask a member of staff to remove it for you.

Location: This is perfect! The beach is a good size with the clearest water I have seen. There is a good choice of sunbeds and canopied beds to choose from them. The beach team were always on hand to provide towels and arrange the beds to shade or sun and in the afternoon Ahmed(?) would make the rounds cleaning your sun glasses. The beach bar team were friendly and funny, a real source of entertainment, especially Ibrahem, who not only remembered our drink preferences but is also skilled at making a mean cup of Egyptian Coffee. In the afternoon the beach bar team handed out a refreshing bowl of fruit salad. The only feedback we would offer the hotel is that a bucket of water bottles sat on the bar for self service between 7am - when the beach opens - and 10am - when the bar opens - would be most appreciated.

In the crescent to the back of the hotel are a number of shops and restaurants including a bar and the two alacarte restaurants, we had a meal at both and the food was amazing, they offer a more intimate dining experience and an impressive four or five course meal with several options for each course. Although you can eat eat alfresco we opted to enjoy the atmosphere of the formal dining rooms.

The hotel has a promenade in front of the beach which is lined with palm trees, apart from the odd electric bikes, cars and tuk-tuk, there were no cars, vans or taxis. The area is clean and quiet, just what we want on holiday.

Along the promenade we found a wonderful spa, called Sole Sensations run by Tony and Julie, they are the loveliest people, I had fish treatment for my feet, it is well worth a visit.

Trips: We came to Egypt with the express desire of relaxation so we only went on one excursion. We did the land safari/Bedouin village experience. Our guide Brownie was fantastic, we rode camels, horses, dune buggies and quad bikes, a good lunch was provided. My husband particularly liked making the coffee with Samier and spent a lot of the afternoon chatting with him and Brownie about life in the Bedouin community. There are many excursions we will be doing next time we come to Egypt.

So, what makes this hotel special: The staff, location, interior design, food and weather. Mohamed, the general manager should be rightly proud of his hotel and his staff. He is very approachable and happy to hear any requests or constructive feedback. You will find him walking all round the hotel daily. He gave us the opportunity to view the royal suite. Wow, is all I can say, see the photos if you can afford the royal suites it wont disappoint. Next time we stay at the Premier Romance we will be upgrading to the Royal Suite.

Will we come back: Most definitely. The Egyptian people are delightful and friendly the hotel surpasses five stars and the weather fantastic, why wouldn't we come back!! highly recommended. Incidentally, people on previous comments have said the service is slow; we never found this at all. If you are normally accustomed to the speed of service in a London restaurant or bar perhaps service seems slower at first, try to remember that you are on holiday, so what's the rush? Book today you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: worth the little extra for a full sea view. Upgrading to Royal Suite if you're there for a spec...

We spent two fantastic and relaxing weeks at his hotel. All the positive comments left on previous reviews are true so I wont list them all again. With us staying for the two weeks we were given the free meals twice in both the Italian and Chinese which makes a great change to the buffet. It was nice to have a relaxing table service meal. If you go to the Italian you will be well looked after by Moawad and in the Chinese by Amed.

In the evening you will be very well looked after by all the staff but we had Great fun with Mustaffa in the lounge bar. Sometimes you could see some people getting upset because they weren't served as soon as they sat down!! But at the end of day your on holiday so what's the rush? The staff work hard from 7am to sometimes 1am. We also had great fun speaking and learning Arabic the staff also enjoy the interaction.

The beach is good and the sunbeds are big and comfortable, we had the same place saved for us every day as did most people and drinks were always on hand whilst lying in the sun.

It is true there is not much to do but that's what makes this a truly relaxing holiday. Apparently later this year you will be picked from the airport by a limo which will be a nice touch. We have travelled to some great places in our time like the Maldives, Caribbean but we will come back to the Premier Romance. The short 5hr flight is well worth it. Also Hurghada airport is ok and has many shops and a Burger King lol.

Don't think twice about booking this hotel otherwise it will get booked whilst you decide. Well done to all the staff and management for running such a professional set up.

And yes we like others will be going back.
