“Perfect Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

Just got back from Premiere Romance (29th September 2012) and had an amazing week. This exquisite and beautiful hotel made up for a disastrous journey with Thomas Cook as our flight from Gatwick was delayed by 4 hours. We checked in after 1 in the morning upon on our arrival we are just asked to sit and relax on the sofa and they brought us hibiscus drinks. Check-in was straight forward with no hassle and no forms etc.
As we missed dinner we were sent up a tray to our bedroom which was very considerate of them.
All the staff were very friendly, quick to resolve any problems and always come around asking if you need anything. The food was excellent with a good variety. Chefs were around in the restaurant at all times to prepare certain dishes to your taste. Our room was always made up quickly to a very good standard. The beach was very clean and quiet (no kids!!) and we had lovely weather to enjoy it. The lovely staff on the beach looked after us the whole time and there were waiters frequently bringing drinks to our cabin. The cabins were available free of charge which was great as most hotels charge extra for this.
We really enjoyed our stay and felt pampered throughout and would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing break in the sun.

Returned from Premier Romance on 22nd September 2012. What an amazing & relaxing holiday from start to finish. Fantastic staff, wonderful food, beautiful beach, stunning hotel. If you decide to visit this hotel you will not regret it as you will be treated like KINGS & QUEENS throughout your stay. If I have to pick a fault with this beautiful stunning hotel it is the way some hotel guests treat the staff when all the staff want to do is help you and make your holiday the best you will ever have. A special thanks to Amr & Mohamed El Menshany on Reception, Golden Boy Bell Boy Hassan, Ibrahim & Karim Bar Service and Abd El & Ibrahim on the beach who kept us entertained throughout the day and a SPECIAL SPECIAL thanks the Yaseer Saleh and Mohamed Hotel Manager.

Thank you all for a GREAT holiday experience

Just returned from a week at the Premier Romance. The most relaxing holiday ever. Hotel and staff were excellent, food very good. Lovely to find a virtually empty beach due to only this hotel near, no noisy kids running about. Beach guys were very friendly and looked after us very well. The room guy was great and nothing was too much trouble. Only problem we had was that the shower curtain was not long enough so didn't hang inside the bath and the floor flooded every time you took a shower, but really not enought of a problem to spoil a really lovely holiday. Does what it says on the can, quiet, peaceful and relaxing, can't want for more than that. We did upgrade to full board at a cost of approx £230 for the 2 of us fo the week, drinks were slightly expensive. We had a superb meal in both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Egyptian night food was very good too. Definately the place to go to get away from it all.

Room Tip: Our room was on 2nd floor and overlooked the beach, never heard anything other than our air conditio...

Having just returned on 26th September i would like to share my experience of the Premier Romance hotel.

All in all it was a very pleasurable experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Sharif and Karim (excuse spelling) who looked after us very well.
We were looking for a relaxing holiday and this is what we got, 11 days of nothingness!
The food in the hotel was very good with an extensive choice in the main restaurant every meal time. The Chinese and Italian restaurants were also very good, with the Italian being my favourite.
It is not well advertised but the Italian restaurant is open at lunchtime for snacks such as pizza, burgers, sandwiches etc and is definitely worth a visit.
The room was spacious and clean, although the aircon was a little on the noisy side.
The beach area was great, with very calm water in the bay it was nice to just relax in the water.

We did venture on a snorkelling trip to Mahmaya, but be warned it’s not quite how they say it is.
we were sold it on the basis of a snorkelling trip around a deserted island paradise, a full day out enjoying the sea. In reality, this hotel was the first pick up of many at 8.45am and the transfer to Hurghada marina took 1hr 30mins (there was no mention of this in the sales pitch). We then boarded a boat taking us to this 'deserted' island only to find a further 50 boats there and around 300 people! We were taken onto the island and told to 'enjoy' for an hour and a half until we could get back onto the boat at our allotted snorkelling slot. Bearing in mind we were collected at 8.45am, lunch was not provided unit 3.15pm and it was 7.30pm by the time we got back to the hotel.
I have to say, this is not anything to do with the hotel itself and was sold to us by our Rep.

There are however a couple of negative points about the hotel
I have to echo some of the other reviews about the length of time it takes to get a drink, you could order a drink and it could be 30mins before you see it. On the beach, i understand as the staff are taking numerous orders etc and having to collect the drinks from the hotel bar, but in the restaurants or in the evenings i fail to see why it takes so long.

I found a slight lack of atmosphere in the hotel if im honest, the hotel could sometimes be very quiet, maybe some music on the beach, or music at night etc would have sorted this however all there seemed to be was the same panpipes CD on a loop every day in the hotel which by the end was starting to get a little irritating.

Also the spa staff can be very persistent, Ramboo especially will not leave you alone until you have booked a spa treatment, he seems to target the pale people who are clearly on their first day, and unless you book more than one he will be back to see you most days.

On the last day of our holiday i was disappointed. We were told we had to check out at noon but were told we could leave our bags in reception and use the spa for a shower etc before we left.
As our transfer was not until 6.30pm we decided not to have lunch in the main restaurant (3pm close) but to eat as late as possible, the Italian is open for snacks until 5pm. After eating we were told that we had to pay cash for our food and drink as we had already checked out, and again when we went for drinks in the bar before our transfer we had to pay cash. After paying for an all inclusive holiday i find it disappointing that we had to pay at the end when in reality the hotel could easily have this thrown in.
If there was a late checkout option that would have overcome this, it was not offered to us.

Overall it was a lovely relaxing holiday, and I would recommend this hotel, it just has a few issues that would take little effort to sort out.

We returned 25th September from Premier Romance. We travelled with friends and had a wonderful time. We have travelled to Egypt and extensively elsewhere but have never received such service. The staff worked extremely hard to provide for every guest's wishes. The beach staff greeted everyone as soon as you appeared on the beach, providing towels, cleaning sunglasses and drinks to order and also at times without ordering. The beach is fantastic, lovely sand, very calm clear sea, lots of opportunities to snorkel and find many different fishes.
Meals in the main dining room and the Italian and chinese restaurants were very good. The service from both chefs and waiters was excellent. The reception staff were also very helpful, going out of their way to do whatever they could to make our stay as memorable and enjoyable as possible.
If you want a completely chilled out holiday, this is definitely the hotel and place to go. We will definitely try to return at some stage. Thanks to all the staff who the manager should be very proud of.

Room Tip: Sea view is a bonus.

We stay at the Premier Romance Boutique Hotel in August 2012, for 2 weeks and had one of the best relaxing holidays every. The hotel & its staff are wonderful, every morning our sunbeds on the beach were always ready and waiting for us, the beach boys looked after us so well. Karmin the beach bar waiter would bring us drinks without us even asking for them, on arrival to the main restaurant on our first night. A waiter called Sabha he is wonderful and looked after us for the hole of our holiday welcomed us; we did not need to ask for anything. The rooms are the best we stayed in we had room 2150 which was facing the beach the view was lovely. The only downside I would say is lack of evening entitlement, twice a week is not enough.

We look forward to returning to this hotel soon.

Room Tip: Sea View rooms are wonderful
