Just returned from our third stay at the PLR,what can we say it just gets better every time.Great rooms,the staff were all excellent.We had a great holiday,looking forward to returning later this year so we can sample more of there excellent food and hospitality.Plenty of sun loungers no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve one either on the beach or by the pool.Lunch in the Ossianos restaurant is very good if you just want a snack rather than going to the main restaurant.We had a great time in there thanks to Soltan who looked after us every day.

Went to the Gala dinner. The white and rose wines are served warm but worse still I saw one of the waiters pour an unfinished glass of wine back into the carafe that was being used to serve the diners. Not a very good practice! He knew I had seen him and just smirked. Glad we had a bottle of red.

First of all our experience of Hurghada Airport was very good. We were off the plane, visa sorted, luggage collected and in the taxi to the hotel within 15 minutes. On returning home we were in the duty free section drinking an ice cold beer within 20 minutes.

On the whole it's a good hotel but the reason we wouldn't return is that returning guests are treated a lot better than guests that are experiencing the hotel for the first time. The way I see it is that if you're visiting this hotel for the first time or the 20th time you still deserve to be treated the same.

Bar staff tended to be quite arrogant at times and if you didn't tip they would ignore you.

We were upgraded to a deluxe jacuzzi suite as it was our honeymoon and this was very nice; however, on closer inspection the cleaning left a lot to be desired. There were pieces of paper on the floor when we arrived and this remained there for the duration of our week's stay. The bathroom cleaning could have been improved on too. Our cleaner, Mohammed, even questioned me on why I had thrown away clothes. To be honest, this was none of his business.

We found the Chinese al-a-carte restaurant to be best out of the Italian and seafood we also tried. The seafood we would rate at number 2 with the Italian at number 3. The Italian lacked atmosphere and the waiters were arrogant and corrected us if we got a pronunciation of a dish wrong.

The buffet restaurant was very good and there was food to cater for every taste.

The alcoholic drinks were very watered down, although the Rose sparkling wine was quite nice. Stay away from the regular white and red wines though. The lattes were very good as were the Irish coffees.

We used the Executive Lounge and did find this to be very nice and the waiter who served us most of the time was very pleasant.

Beware of the jewellery shop on site. My husband bought me a silver ring and we had to take it back twice because one of the stones kept falling out. This was fixed on both occasions but I'm quite sceptical that it will fall out again. Not a good recommendation.

Please note that this hotel is extremely remote and as the entertainment was so poor we felt like we were in a prison as there was nowhere to escape the dullness of The Long Bar and its substandard entertainment. We got speaking to other guests who were there for 2 weeks and they said they wished they were only there for a week as it was so remote and lacked entertainment value.

My opinion is that this hotel lacks atmosphere and the staff really need to be shown how to treat guests.

Hurghada itself is very dirty and the marina is really not worth a visit. However, we did visit El Ghouna and this is very nice. If you are thinking of visiting this part of Egypt I would recommend you stay at a hotel in El Ghouna as there is so much more to do and it is much better.

We wouldn't visit this hotel again due to the reasons mentioned above.

Room Tip: All rooms appear to have a pool view or a side sea view. We were in room 2316.

Second visit to hotel if anything the hotel has got better clean spacious rooms
fabulous food especially in the theemed restaurants Staff very attentive especially
around the lower pool [boy was it cold] Very nice touch that the manager was
always visible for a chat about problems Oh there were none.

My wife and I have just returned from our third stay at the Premier Le Reve. We racked our brains but honestly can't think of anything we would change about the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is excellent and the staff are the warmest and friendliest people you could find. It would be impossible to feel down when you are staying here but, if you did, the infectious laughter and great service of Carlos in the lobby bar would soon have you smiling again.

For those who want an active nightlife, go to another resort. But, for those who want a great hotel in a great location on a red sea beach the Premier le Reve is as good as it gets. Snorkelling is excellent from the jetty outside the hotel. If you want to venture out of the hotel grounds there is a 3 - 4 mile promenade around the bay. You can comfortably walk to the town in approx 40 minutes. There are lots of half built hotels but I cannot believe any of them will be better than the Premier if / when they are completed.

You are unlikely to need much cash as the hotel is all inclusive but, whatever you do need, my advice is to take Sterling as the very best rate anywhere is available from the exchange machine in the hotel lobby - just change what you need, when you need it.

We will be back next year, if not before.

There is a reason that we visit Premier Le Reve for the fifth time. "From the time we arrive at PLR entrance door, and until we leave, PLR exhibited a high level of service that gives us the impression of personal service, at a high level." Regardless where we are at the hotel, we meet with a smile and a willingness to fulfill our desires. Our purpose with our stay was, and is, holidays with a high degree of comfort, where the concepts, cleanliness, quiet environment is essential. Premier Le Reve fulfill our purpose, why we are returning for the fifth consecutive year, and now for a 2 week.

Room Tip: Rooms with pool views is preferable, and an upgrade to de luxe is worth the money.

The hotel was beautiful and most of the staff welcoming. Plenty of food on offer with so much verity you were ever stuck for choice. Although the drinks were it seemed fake copies of dubious makes which made us not drink much. The pools were super with excellent poolside entertainment. The artist also played in the long bar each night and gave his all. A very accomplished musician especially his trumpet playing which was superb. We found the quizzes and activities to be a bit hi de hi and not in keeping with a five star hotel but overall a nice break
