“The hotels does not worth the money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

If you are looking for a peaceful vacation, this is not the right hotel for you. The customer service is terrible; the staff is not capable and they are incredibly rude. The hotel tries to charge you for drinks you did not drink without an invoice with your signature. You do not pay for sure but you have to spend 2 hours fighting with the management. Secondly, we were 2 friends and wanted to separate beds. Our room had one king size bed and the hotel could not change the room for 3 days, so in case you need any help from the hotel staff they are not capable of anything at all.

There is no wireless in the rooms. the wireless in the reception is very limited; you can login only 2-3 times in a week if you are lucky enough.

The hotel is very far to downtown and the scuba diving spots. if you are going to Hurghada for diving, try to book a hotel close to downtown so that you can eliminate the 55minutes-drive to downtown and back everyday.

The drinks in the hotel are very watery. The coke, beer, wine - all of these have the color but not the taste. You will definitely NOT enjoy your drinks.

There is exact time for everything in the hotel. The staff tries to take your towels at 5pm while you are sunbathing. They do not care if you want to enjoy the sunset or not or continue sunbathing.

Finally, the mosquitoes are a very big problem in Hurghada.

Dear guests,
Sincere greetings from Premier Le Reve.
Firstly I would like to point out that your booking with us was soft all inclusive concept which means that your all alcoholic beverages are chargeable.
I am deeply sorry to read that none of our drinks met your taste. In Egypt there is quite a wide choice of local spirits and we have only the first class drinks from the market in our hotel,
actually all the internet ratings prove that the food & Beverage quality and variety are our strongest points
considering the internet connection From time to time is limited due to different reasons, e.g. a high amount of downloads from guests or many guests accessing the internet at the same time.
Your comment about the location we offer a shuttle bus twice daily free of charge whenever guests wish to change the scenery.
Best regards,

We have never been to Egypt before and after hearing mixed reviews, decided to go by the reviews read on Tripadvisor and book Premier Le Reve.
From the moment we arrived at LPR, we felt special. We arrived on the coach from the airport with quite a few other people, who were also booking in. The booking in was seamless - room allocation, information, a cold glass of hibiscus tea and a cold flannel to refresh us, luggage taken straight up and a meal waiting in the restaurant was the start of our holiday.
The room was lovely, a walk in dressing/luggage room, which housed a free safe, a bed that was massive and so comfortable. Choice of pillows. Mini bar, stocking soft drinks and water. A lovely bathroom, with double sinks, shower/bath and walk in shower cubicle.
The food is lovely and even the pickiest of eater would be hard pressed to complain - fillet steak, pasta, roasts, speciality dishes - all delicious and changed on a regular basis and hot. The breakfast menu offered an array of cereals, porridge, omlettes, eggs, beef bacon (which for anyone who loves salt beef, will become a preference over bog standard bacon any day). lovely pastries, breads and so on. There are also three other restaurants (Chinese, seafood and Italian) that you can book once per week in your all inclusive package along with a Sushi and Indian, with a small charge. The restaurant by the pool is open for lunch offering a selection of salads, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, mexican - all cooked to order.
The pool area is clean, packed with sunbeds, towel hire, comfortable sun loungers, cabanas on the beach, hammocks - someone to clean your sunglasses, deliver your drinks ( a big thanks to Carlos and Abdul Rahman (akuna matata) for their smiley faces and excellent service) Also a cooling flannel is brought round about 11.30, which is so refreshing.
The beach is sandy/slightly rocky, with a coral reef that's protected, by a jetty which you use if you want to swim in the lovely clear water or just to watch the variety of colourful fish.
The bar service is perfect, with the lovely humble and so efficient Tamer in the execive bar (Congratulations Tamer in your recent marriage) - Daniel in the lobby and long bar always happy to see us and give advice re the local area and Egypt.
A special mention to Mr Fouquet, the Executive Duty Manager who is ever present throughout the day, everywhere! checking that everyone is happy and satisfied - he really listens and cares that you enjoy yourself.
We upgraded to a de luxe room which gave us access to the executive lounge, the skybar and a laundry bag of washing done once per week.
The location is remote and as mentioned by some other reviewers the resort is still in the early stages, but cabs are not expensive, you pay at reception and they are spot on time when picking you up. There is also a free shuttle bus that will take you into Hurgadha twice a day.
Premier Le Reve was really a wonderful hotel - the service and food was brilliant - well worth a visit - as we will do again next year.

This was a very popular hotel from ratings here and recurrent bookings. It didn't really hit the spot for us and hard to say why without sounding really fussy but will try:
Location is very isolated a long way from Hurghada and any other area of interest/activity
A lot of Russian visitors in the hotel ( a clear majority that were well behaved and pleasant )
The food was reasonable in the main ( Turquoise ) Restaurant if you like that kind of thing - quantity and queuing. We were clearly subsidising some people with large appetites. Other restaurants were good.
The quality of drinks was not impressive ( rose wine is best option )
The musical entertainment was directed at the English speaking minority- Rum Club were good otherwise not much going on that interested us
The Thompson flight was rubbish and we had very rude cabin staff on outbound flight with cramped conditions - frustrating way to start and end the holiday.

On the plus side service at all levels was outstanding, snorkelling was excellent, room was spotless and immaculate. We did pay for delux room and were delighted with the Executive Lounge. The outside snack area at lunch time was memorably good.

We enjoyed the week a lot.
Would I spend a second week there? No
Would I go back again? Probably not
Would I send a friend there? Yes as long as they knew what they were getting. An excellent all inclusive hotel in an isolated position with high volume food and drink.

I read this report back to myself and realise how fussy I am getting - sorry PLR you did try really hard. Thompson you had better sharpen up the charter flights before we use your brand again.

Once again a perfect holiday in a great hotel. It is less than six months since we visited this hotel. Again delivers the hotel what you pay for. Service, service and service again. The hotel staff is 100% present for all guests. When it comes to food, so we think it was better the first time we visited the hotel. But despite that, there are a lot of amazing food and enjoy. If I should mention two things that we experienced as negative, then the net access could have been much better. We live in a time that the internet means a lot for people who travel a lot. But it's probably a simple matter for the hotel to change. The other negative thing, do not go directly to the hotel. But in October, about 90% of the guests from Russia. Well they take a lot of space, extremely much space. I commend the staff for the extremely good patience.

My wife and I have probably found our place, when it comes to relaxation. We have traveled a lot around the world for the last 25 years. But Egypt, with wonderful people that we now choose this place for future vacations.

A big thanks to the hotel's directors and executives for their presence. We meet again in March 2013.

Yet another amazing week spent at this georgeous hotel. Still no real complaints, only a few minor thoughts...

The presence of ants and other insects seemed to have increased since last time, in spite of the use of "fogging" to eliminate such creatures.

The receptionists didn't welcome us with a smile more than one time, which was at the check-in. They always gave the impression of being bothered when we wanted to ask something.

The massage therapists kept on bugging us everyday, in spite of us clearly telling them "no" the first time. Surely they're good at what they do, but the prices are far higher even than in most European countries.

Anyway, still one of the greatest hotels out there. We went on a snorkeling trip which was beyond awesome! Highly recommended for all - it's one of the best excursions you can go on.

Our last review was named "7 stars" and we still stand for it. The service, the hospitality, the gala dinner, the a'la carte restaurants... All magnificient! We wrote this in our travel blog, and it pretty much sums up the experience:

"The hotel is specialized for couples. Love and romance are spiring. It's perfect for honeymooners, as well as older couples wanting to re-ignite the flame. It's impossible not to fall in love when you're here. Remember to bring your own snorkeling kit as there are plenty of beautiful fishes and coral reefs by the hotel's private beach.

The hotel is probably the best you'll ever get for this price. Everything is 5 stars except the location, which is really remote. Sahl Hasheesh is under construction, and will probably be for a lot more years. Every thursday there's a special gala dinner in the main restaurant. The buffet is, as described by the hotel itself, mouth-watering. There's live music in the restaurant as well. A night not to miss."

A hotel not to miss.

We stayed in the PLR from 28/09 - 12/10 and it definitely matched our expectations having read the reviews. The hotel is smart but not too big. From the grand entrance to the rooms, from the restaurants, bars and pool / beach area we couldn't find anything we would change.
Everywhere was clean, the gardens superbly maintained and the service was second to none.

We wanted a relaxing slow paced and quiet beach holiday and that's certainly what we got.
The stand out part of the holiday was the service! Hani on the beach is an absolute gem. Emad in the restaurant is a machine! Id like to name them all! Everyone we met who worked with the hotel were fantastic. The managers are always around and willing to give staff a hand. Excellent customer service all round. Having been to quite a few all inclusives around the world the PLR is certainly one of the best for service.

The food was also fantastic. The puddings - well lets just say we put on a few pounds! We found that at lunch and the evening if you wait for 45 mins after opening hours the restaurant calms down a bit and is less frantic but the food is still fresh and plentiful. We never saw anything run out. The staff are always on hand to replenish when required. The drinks also were excellent, especially the sparkling rose.

The snorkelling from the jetty was out of this world! I'm not a strong confident swimmer but I felt fine as the water was very clear and not too deep. If you can take your own snorkels as this works out a lot cheaper. We saw blue spotted rays, masked puffer fish and huge unicorn fish to name just a few just yards from the jetty.

There isn't much around the bay. Out of 25 hotels only 6 are completed and up and running. There was little building work going on which appears to be a sign of the economic times. You can hire scooters and golf buggys just outside the hotel area which are great to to zip around the bay and see what else is around. In my opinion now is the time ito go you want to have a quiet holiday
before it gets built up.

We had a deluxe room which was great. We didn't use he executive lounge much as we preferred the atmosphere on the lobby bar terrace. The chairs in the executive lounge balcony area are vey low and uncomfortable so we preferred the sofas elsewhere. We had he ability to get some washing done as we were in the deluxe room. The service again was superb and it was great not to bring too much washing home! The bed..... Well what can I say. We loved it! Huge!

Would I go again? Yes definitely. Would like to go for 10 days but no one seems to do the flights anymore to make at possible. Thomson definitely don't. Shame.

Overall a fantastic hotel with amazing staff. We loved every second of it! Well Done PLR!

Room Tip: All rooms look good. Better views from higher up. Deluxe room was worth the extra for us. Depends wh...

Altogether we have spent 10 weeks at this hotel which speaks volumes. It is such good value for money. All the staff are excellent but I need to say a few special thanks.
Thank you Mr Fouquet (senior duty manager) for your welcome and for spoiling us.
Thanks, too, to Mostafa at reception for your speedy and efficient check in - just what we needed after a long journey.
Ibraim (food and beverages manager) you have maintained your high standards; there is always so much choice of delectable food and the canapes at the Piazza party were delicious.
Sayed (supervisor at the Chinese Restaurant) your service is first class and the food just as good.
Hafez (supervisor at the Italian Restaurant) again the service was most professional and the food was super. I love the elegance of this restaurant.
Ahmed, Said and Ayman at the Ossiano/Mermaid Restaurant - thank you; you were all so eager to please and nothing was too much trouble. My husband doesn't eat fish but you cooked him a delicious steak with mushroom sauce.
Thank you Emad who served us at breakfast and at dinner; you anticipated our needs and was always so willing.
Ayman you serviced our room so well and so unobtrusively - thank you.
Tarek, Ashraf, Ahmad Nour and Mourad of the recreation team looked after us so well, moving our parasol when we fell asleep ensuring we didn't burn and carrying our towels. Ahmed at the sky pool was just as attentive, and your fresh orange was most refreshing.
Al arabi in the boutique was always so patient with us and pleased to answer our many questions. A pleasure to meet someone so polite and helpful.
Mr Mostafa (laundry manager) thank you, thank you, thank you. Our clothes were laundered and folded perfectly. So nice to be able to return home and just put everything away. The bed linen and towels are to a high standard and there is an unending supply of beach towels. I really appreciate the clean table linen, especially the crisp, clean table napkins - so much better than paper ones. You and your team must work extremely hard and thank you seems inadequate. Keep up your good work.
All in all we were made to feel very special - it's a privilege to stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: We have had five different rooms and have been pleased with all of them- all spacious and clean with...
