its amazing !! . i had a "Day Use" for me , my wife and two boys.
its fantastic, best aqua i even been. more than 15 different slides for adults and a whole fun area for children . which is designed for best safety for kids.
i left my two kids ( 3Yr - 5Yr ) to play alone in the area without being worried.
hospitality and staff are great. food is good. first class bathrooms and showers.

Went on holiday with my family to jungle aqua park for 11 days. We had a fantastic time there and the hotel was mostly enjoyable. We arrived at the airport and were told we had been upgraded to jungle aqua park from Alf leila next door. Starting with the hotel, a large hotel with everything there. Several bars, restaurants, gym, sauna and alot of pools. Our room was very nice, and clean with a fridge, TV and nice bathroom. Infront of our room was a swimming pool. The beach is also good, accessible through a mini bus provided by the hotel. There are different bars where you can get drinks, the aqua bar, jazz bar and others with some refreshing cocktails. There was alot to do out of the hotel, which we made the most of. About a 10 minute walk is senzo mall which is very modern and has a McDonalds also. Other excursions which we did included quadbiking, super safari, submarine and dolphin show. We also travlled to the beautiful town of Elgouna where we did go-karting. The best thing about the hotel for me was the aqua park, 20+ fantastic slides however sometimes there was a que for Floats which are required and sometimes some people didnt give theres to you which was annoying. That aside the biggest issue for us was the food. We expected it to be delicous but it was far from. At times the food was good and there was good options but sometimes it wasnt satisfactory and little options. There were different restaurants, the indian was the best for us. Also was the itallian, mediterriean and le marche. Also there was a ice cream place. I must add the hotel was apparantley 20% full. I presume this was because of the violence is Egypt. There was absoloutley nothing wrong in Hurghada and from all the residents there in Cairo it is all propoganda by the news. Overall we had a fantastic time in a very hot egypt climate which was 38 degrees every day usually. Love to return there one day

We stayed mid August and were as party of 7 with 3 children and 1 OAP.

We were a little nervous about the temperature in Egypt and also about the 'Egyptian tummy'!

We stayed in rooms 1003 and 1007 which was right by the reception building and had a garden roundabout in the middle of the small bungalow cul-de-sac with a wonderful quiet pool with beach style sloping to it. We couldn't hear any noise in our room and we were amazed at the expense in which they had gone to and the rooms we had (which were family rooms) were absolutely huge with massive king size+ bed and bunk beds with a sofa day bed so all 3 children could stay in our room instead of sending one over to my parents' room.

We arrived in the dark - sunset is at 6.30pm ish in Egypt and was very glad of it as Hurghada is not very nice at all but this doesn't fall under the hotels maintenance.

Temperature when we got off the Plane was a cool 34C at night! so be prepared to enter an oven after leaving chilly Britain but you will soon get used to the temperature

VISAS!! Do not take coins. They do not like coins at all. They want paper money
Also everything is written in euros but will gladly accept dollar bills

When we arrived we got off the very excellent air conditioned coach to see a camel train go past!
The check in was a farce but as long as you are aware that it'll take a while you'll be fine. They bring everyone into the Indigo bar and do the check- in for you. ALSO you will have to fill out your passport details many Many times!

The air conditioning in our room was brilliant and the whole set up worked really well and our children were ecstatic when we arrived

The resort couldn't be any cleaner. Employing staff 24hrs a day to clean pools and all over the resort - no floaters seen at all except lilos which we all enjoyed trying to jump onto after being handed one by a very generous guest who was due to leave hotel.

All staff were incredibly friendly and were very nice with our party and made our stay very nice indeed. They were very good at saving us a table as sometimes during busy times getting a table together was tricky.

Our rooms were cleaned daily to a very good standard. Toilet roll in abundance! And left the children's pjs Ian pretty fan style plus we got a swan made out of towels left on our bed!

We didn't get to use all the 21 pools the children's pool was wonderful with so many water activities to play with from see-saws in water, little animal slides, HUGE water climbing frame with 2 massive water slides - wonderful!

Pools were in river style with bridges and islands all over with realistic animals with a lifeguard on each one

Aqua park was wonderful with something for everyone and my 7 year old was able to go on EVERY water slide much to my horror!
The toilets were very clean and for $1 enough sunbeds were secured together thanks to the staff members there.
Aqua park closes at 5pm - we were amazed to begin with as the temp was still high but we soon realised it was to enable the entire massive resort and waterpark to be cleaned thoroughly which I'd rather as I heard not one mention of illness much to people's surprise at home!

Food. Pretty repetitive but I didn't have to prepare, serve or clean up afterwards so I was very happy and we found something to eat each night. The way the restaurants are set up makes the pool side appear to be a beach promenade with the individual restaurants with candle lit tables make it look very pretty. The restaurants themselves are amazing with individual style architecture and no expense appears to have been spared.
Didn't witness much pushing in and rude Russians which we had expected after reading some of the reviews on here.
You MUST go to La Brioche which is a cafe and serves gorgeous mini deserts - we only discovered this gem on our 4th night

Kids club disco at night should have either been outside properly or indoors with air con as it was so hot we had to stop going which my children were gutted about.

We went to the hotel next door for an egyptian night which to be honest - apart from the camel and horse rides was a waste of money with awful amateur dancers - 4 of which had absolutely no idea what they were doing and horse acrobatics which would have been good if it had been much shorter.

You will have people trying to sell you excursions and if you don't want it say no thank you and they will go.

We went to the Dana beach on the free bus and although we didn't stay long it was a lovely beach the children just wanted to get back to the aqua park as they enjoyed it so much.

When it says ask if there are no sunbeds they really mean it. You can find the pool you want to stay by and if there are no sun beds available but a staff member quickly comes to help.

Finally one week simply was not long enough. Yes the food was repetitive but the rest of the hotel was so amazing we would love to go back one day. Would definitely recommend the 1000s bungalows as its close to the restaurants and reception and pools and only a 5 min walk from the aqua park.

We paid €35 to have a late check out and asked for more towels as we were sharing it with all 7 of us. Unfortunately the reception desk failed to do so and so we had to share towels

However the airport is disgusting and the toilets were a health hazard so ensure you have hand sanitizer and toilet roll for the wait at the airport. But again that's not the fault of the airport.

Finally, we stayed during the beginning of the fighting in hurghada itself and our hotel and Thompson rep were very helpful, we received a letter to let us know about the fighting and to ensure our safety was their most important priority, also the hotel staff phoned our room to personally ask us if we needed anything and to reassure us that we were ok. The most exciting thing for us over that was travelling to the airport when we drove past tanks and military check points!!!

Room Tip: 1000-1020 perfect position for families as close to everything and quiet without a pool right outsid...

A friend and I travelled to Egypt for a holiday in March 2012 for a week of sun, we stayed at the Jungle Aqua Park - the hotel was clean and the staff were lovely. The pool was FREEZING - it never had anybody in it unless like us, the entertainment team threw you in.

Daytime entertainment was great - evening was less entertaining.

We got the bus every night to the club with the entertainment team which was fun and going with the enetertainment team meant we got in for free and had lots of drink deals - they also made sure we all got back to the hotel safely.

The food was ok - lots of choice of dining areas with 'themes' but there was limited choice of actual food. The BBQ was good but there were huge queues for this and not enough food - unless you wanted to wait over an hour.

The cocktails were great - the bar staff at the indoor 'club' were great and remembered our order from the first night.

The rooms were big and clean - for the two of us we had a huge room at the back of the property, near the not so crazy golf which had twin beds in one room, a bunk and another single bed in another room. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great.

the excursion salesmen go around the pool and do not stop pestering unless you tell them to leave you alone.

We went on a boat trip to go snorkeling in the red sea which was great fun. We also went on the quad bike and dune buggy trip which was really fun too!! The guys that take you are a bit touchy-feely though. On the trip we also got to go on a Donkey ride (I fell off as there was only a bit of blanket on the Donkey's back to hang onto as a tiny man dragged the donkeys round in a circle at full speed - hilarious) and we also rode camels.

Last but not least the waterpark at the hotel is SO MUCH FUN! Obviously there are no crazily huge slides but the ones that are there are fun and there was hardly any queueing! There are loads of inflatables to use.

Myself and my partner visited Jungle Aqua Park for two weeks from the 30th August. We had previously been to Cuba in June for a very relaxing tranquil holiday and wanted a hotel which provided relaxation yet a lively vibe/fun and we were not disappointed.
The flight from Manchester was brilliant as we had three seats between the two of us as the flight was so empty. We were disappointed that we had wasted money on pre-booking our seats but we were happy to be getting away. The cabin crew were a little rude on this flight & we felt there needed to be some form of in-flight movie due to the 6hr flight time.
On arrival we were pushed forward into a large queue to buy visas. We paid more than the $15 advertised as we paid in £. Though we were too tired and excited to reach our destination to fully care. We did look out for the banks but could not see them, apparently they are on the left. We got our luggage fairly quickly and were directed onto the coach by a friendly member of staff from Thomson. The transfer didn't take too long and was comfortable.
Our first impressions of the hotel were excellent - the lobby is lovely and well maintained. It took a while to fill in our details & get our wristbands and we felt that Thomson should take a leaf out of Thomas Cook's book and provide a service where you can get your key, wristbands and fill out information on the transfer - much more practical.
Exceeded our expectations. We had a large double bed between the two of us with two single beds secluded by sliding doors. The bathroom was huge and I particularly liked the walk in shower/wet room type feel. The cleaners were amazing, we would watch them cleaning for at least half an hour from outside the room whilst lazing on our sunbeds. Care and attention was taken and we often went back to amazing towel art and re-arrangement of our things so that they were tidy again. They even folded clothes that were left on the floor! I felt very guilty and put the do not disturb sign on a couple of times to give them a break haha. Fridge was filled everyday with four bottles of water and coke. We would ask the cleaner in the morning for clean beach towels and there was never a problem.
Hotel Grounds & Staff
The hotel grounds are stunning. Everything is clean, tidy and maintained to quite a high standard. We witnessed life guards changing the pool filters regularly, cleaning the pools at night and tidying up after everybody. We would watch people let their empty cups just fly around on the floor and watch waiters pick up after them. I however put my rubbish in the bin and was thanked massively as though I had saved someones life. They really appreciate politeness and smiles. Its not hard!! One night we were asked how many were sitting down for tea and got shown to a table made up with flowers and swans. Wine on the table which I was not allowed to pour as the waiter came running over & even followed me to the restaurant to carry my plate to the table for me. We felt embarrassed making them run round like that after us but they enjoyed doing it and really went out of their way for you. You just have to ask, they can't read your mind :] The staff work very long hours and are there most of the week. We saw the ice cream guy start at 12 until it closed at 9 and then we saw him cleaning later that night.
Food was disappointing compared to other all inclusive resorts I will admit but we always found something to eat. This was due to the lack of guests and was annoying because we had paid for our holiday and expected it to be of a high standard. We quickly got over this issue and enjoyed our holiday. We bought 29p share bag packets of crisps from the mall to keep us going if we really could not find anything to eat. The food wasn't awful or cooked bad, it was more the choice, being only one meat on offer in each of the 3 restaurants when there should have been 7 to choose from. I feel the hotel needs some sort of A La Carte restaurants to provide a change from the buffet. Heard many people complaining about the ice cream and the small cups, rather than complain and annoy myself on holiday, I just asked for two or three tubs if we really needed it.
We felt the drink selection was brilliant. The waiter soon got to know my order of a bottle of sprite a cup of vodka and two mango slush haha :D We decided to mix our own drinks as they were too strong for our liking. The ice chocolates are just divine especially in such hot weather.
Aqua Park
AMAZINGGGGGGGGG! Despite the food being a disappointment due to lack of guests, the fact that we had an aquapark more or less to ourselves definitley made up for it. We did not queue once for a ring or mat at any time of day. I did fall out of my ring on the blue tsunami slide as the life guard pushed me so fast which was quite dangerous but I laughed it off as noone was harmed and it ended up being quite funny. Other guests from different hotels were allowed to pay and use the facilities but we did not find it a problem due to the low capacity within the hotel. We loved how the hotel was set out, we'd spend the morning on the day beds, lunch time at the aquapark and afternoon by our bungalow sunbathing... bliss.
Animation Team:
Absolutley amazing - really went out of their way to ensure everyone was having a good time. They work long hours - being around the pool from 10pm until the show finishes at around half 10/11 - some even go out after. Always jumping, always dancing and always saying yeh yeh yeh down the microphone. Myself and my boyfriend even got up on stage and did the Romeo and Juliet show one evening & from that night we were referred to as best couple haha
We did lots of games around the pool including catching potatos with forks and we are still dancing to the club dances despite being home. We can really see why families choose the resort as they are great with kids. An incident occurred where one of the team was pushed into the pool and I don't know what went on afterwards but to be fair I'd be pretty angry if I'd been push in, hurt my knee preventing me from working and breaking my phone. I wonder who paid for his phone? Though as a professional it was wrong for him to have shouted but its circumstance.
Ultimate Desert Experience is a must. We booked through the rep to ensure we were insured if anything went wrong. We did quads, spider cars, mini tanks, camels, horses, had food, watched a show and star gazed all for around £40. Excellent excursion not to be missed.
Amazing. All equipment provided - life vests to ensure safety. Taken to two locations, provided with a lovely lunch and ample time to catch the rays. Booked again through Thomson and was around £35 each.

I would definitley recommend this hotel to younger couples who enjoy relaxation as well as the thrill of aquaparks and those with a family or family group. I wouldn't stay here if I was a couple in my mid 50s as I would choose an adults only resort. We paid £750 for two weeks all inc which I believe is a fabulous deal as we met couples who had paid £800 for the week. With flights taken into consideration at around £400 - £350 for two weeks for a room, all your food and drink an aqua park and pools galore is not bad at all. If your looking to go I would definitley say BOOK IT NOW :D We had such a fun holiday with memorable experiences and the food did not dishearten us as we would return :D

Room Tip: 1000 rooms are perfect! We stayed in 1021 and loved it :D

Stayed here for a week and had a great time. Only bad points moodi the excursion selling rep hasselled us atleast twice a day everyday, so pushy couldnt get rid of him. Staff are either absolutely brilliant or completely rude and ignorant! Food needed some more variety
