“Any nice beaches?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

Having visited this hotel in 2010, we found the hotel, staff and generally everything excellent and have booked again to go back in 2 weeks time. We especially loved the fact of having a pool outside the majority of rooms. The only downfall was that the pool side tiles and flooring around some of the hotel was incredibly slippery and numerous people had accidents, including my father, although Crocs and swim shoes can remedy this. However, when we were last there, we couldn't find a nice beach. We visited Dana beach and was very unimpressed with the stoney sand, cleanliness and it's general location. So my question is, has anyone found a nice beach in or around Hurghada? we love snorkeling too, however we are willing to settle for a nice sandy beach that the children can enjoy. Many thanks in advance.

All in all a good hotel, we stayed here before so we knew what to expect. The rooms are big, comfortable, there are lots of pools to choose from, the aquapark is nice and we had lots of fun.
The food is good but doesnt vary to much from one restaurant to another, i liked the most the sweets.
I apreciated that they try to keep the place clean.
They have a spa but the prices are high, they negociate but not very much i suposse because of rusian people who pay the money they ask without negotiating.
We had a nice stay in Jungle aqua park and we will choose it again four our next trip to Hurgada.

The hotel was very nice and clean and we enjoyed our stay. We have only a few things we'd like to say. 1. Don't you know what salt is? The food was good but there wasn't much flavour. 2. The water in the pools is COLD. Okey, you get used to it, but a degree or two warmer would be nice.
3. If we don't want cleaning once or twice in a week it should be okey. The cleaners don't have to follow us and ask why we don't want cleaning.
Overall pleasent hotel and I recommend it specially for families with kids. Waterpark is nice!

We just come back from Jungle Aqua Park hotel where we stayed for a week with our 4 years old boy. Its not first time for us in Egypt so we knew what to expect but this hotel took us by suprise. From the moment we stepped in to the Reception lobby we knew its gona be nice. We were given a really nice room close to Aqua park in a more quiter part of the hotel which was really nice.the room was really big size with a spare room for our son. The staff working there are always nice and friendly and we felt sorry for them cause they do so many hours but still was smilling at any time of the day or night. The food was ok we had nearly every night some grilled food so it was ok. I dont understand the previous reviews saying the hotel was dirty? Staff are literally walking around constantly with a brush or a cloth cleaning all areas of the hotel! In overall we had a Fantastic Holiday at this hotel, our son loved animation team and we loved the night entertaining! Would definately recommend this hotel to families, young and old! I just cant wait to go back there!!!

We have spend one week here in the second may week 2013 with a 3 years and a 4 months old.
Overall we have been expecting 4-5* quality, but we have to say it's not quite a 4*

On the positive note...
I have to say the fun factor for the kids is huge, there is something for all the ages.
Many different pools.
Friendly staff and nice with the kids.
Overall good service.
Rooms are big and spacious.

Things we didn't like or have space for improvement...
The resort is huge!!!little personal touch.
The rooms finish is not so good, every corner has something, especially the bathroom, but overall clean...
Overall the resort gives a very used impression...
The hotel is not at the beach, but it's possible to take the shuttle bus to another beach hotel of the same group. unfortunately the beach is very bad...
The biggest improvement is needed in the quality of the food...
All is buffet style or bbq,
...chicken mixed up with duck...
...Meat pieces in veg. couscous..

One last thing which has nothing to do with the hotel...i would guess 40% of the guests are Russian. This is just for information..

Room Tip: Choose a double bed room, the rooms are slightly bigger and have a sliding door to split the bungalo...

This was the first time that we have been to the Jungle Aqua Park and will definitely not be the last, on our first day we were given accommodation very close to the evening entertainment which was a problem when trying to get our children to sleep, I would like to say that this would not of been a problem for most of the other guests it is just that we tend to go to bed early,
when I went to the reception & mentioned this we were given another bungalow without any hassle, this started our holiday off on a big positive. We would like to say that the complex was very clean, all off the staff were genuinely friendly & helpful, the food selection was great & very nice to eat and the accommodation was fantastic. I am a building site manager & would like to mention that the maintenance was very good & I could not fault the health & safety aspect of the whole complex.
While we were on holiday we became aware that some of the other guests gave bad comments on travel web sites because they thought that they would get special treatment when they returned.(So they write a negative review then book to go again ?).
Now that we have experienced the Jungle Aqua park I am glad that we took the negative reviews with a pinch of salt.
I have been to similar types of resorts before but feel that for a family vacation the jungle aqua park can not be beaten.

Had a week as a couple. Hotel spotless constantly, rooms large and the bed I wanted to take home with me. Food was good most of the time, but make sure you shop around the restaurants to decide what you want. Mexican at the aqua park was lovely, and the bar above probably gave us the best service all holiday they were excellent. Advice - if you want good service tip at the start and they will look after you, but take $1 bills, or it becomes expensive. The entertainment at night isn't brilliant and probably the only disappointing part, however once you've met a few people then entertainment not needed. You must go to the Jungle coffee shop, they serve lovely coffees and ice chocolate drink. Aqua park ace seems to be quite busy on Saturdays though. We went on the VIP trip snorkelling, brilliant day, but takes lots of sun cream. Don't think it was good for younger couples looking for nightlife as there isn't any. It's chilled, there is always a swimming pool available to cool down in, and plenty of sun beds. We had a lovely time, and would definitely go back. Advice: the mall around the corner is expensive, but if you need a chemist then use the one there, not the one at the aqua park - our medicine cost £40 for cold pills and a heat rash cream! Mozzies are rif there at the moment so take spray or you will get bitten alive. They do say that they are only there for a month though before the wind wipes them away..... Not sure about that one. For children this hotel is superb, they staff are fantastic with them, the aqua park is fantastic for them, and you may also be run over by a few of them on electric scooters....... But hey it's fun.

Room Tip: They are bungalows and all open up onto pools - it's amazing.
