This was the second time in this hotel. Special thanks to Mr. Farag (food and beverages manager) Atef (lifeguard) Mohammed and Mourkus (from the pool bar) Bahaa and small Sayed =Egyptian Danny de Vito from recreation. These staff make our holiday pleasant, enjoyable and unforgettable.
Many of the staff are kindly but unfortunely some are only consentrated to be in touched with young, good looking russian girls. We have experienced it at beach bar, they served and give them drinks at once when they approaced the bar.
Be carefull when you gonna go out to Hurgada town and take taxi outside the hotel. Some of taxis take more than 5 dollars one way. (eventhough there is a sign inside the hotel reception) We have experienced and have seen fight outside 2 times during our stay and it was very scary. Because taxi drivers are very aggressive and security guard, police and staff of the hotel can`t do nothing. People from outside approached the tourist offering taxi and hasjes or something.....

Room Tip: Choose rooms that face swimming poll area

I've been here in 2010 in my summer vacation with my boyfriend and all i can say is that it was perfect!!! Great meal, comfortable rooms, great swimming pools and a lot of space for relaxation..the staff was ok, i can not complain about anything. You can see the resort from the pictures..it's marvellous! Maybe it's not a really 5 stars hotel..but, for egypt, it's ok..

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in May last year it was our last holiday as a family as our kids are now adults. We had an awesome time apart from the food, although plentyful the smell wa a little off putting. The manager of the Mamma MIa restuarant became friends with us and we ate there most nights he name was Abdul Mohamed i think but i nick named him Bob he was super so thanks Bob. The rest of the staff were great, the only things that spoilt it were the food and having to wait hours for loo roll not a good thing with an upset tummy! Overall we had a great time my daughter has fallen in love with Egypt as have I, my son was ok with it so was hubby. We shall return again.

We've just got back from 2 weeks at the Sunrise Le Jardin (also called the Festival Le Jardin) in Hurghada. We wanted 2 weeks rest in the sun and that's what we got so can't complain but I wouldn't go again as I much prefer Sharm el Sheikh and the hotel needs a serious shake up regarding its total lack of organisation, especially in the restaurant.
.
The hotel and its sister hotel, Festival Riveriera, next door (which you can use) are a long way out of town, so its quite isolated. The hotels themselves are fine, the usual egyptian style. Rooms were fine, housekeeping did a good job - though toilet paper seems to be in short supply some days! The grounds are beautiful and well kept and probably the best part of the hotel. The pool was nice though we never got a sunbed by it, choosing the beach instead. By about 9.30 all the sunbeds were reserved, despite signs saying you couldn't do that. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach with umbrellas. some days they ran short of towels. Regarding previous comments about putting a red flag by your bed so you don't get pestered, we did this a few days and then they seemed to run out so made do without. Yes there were plenty of people trying to sell you something, but just say no thanks or carry on reading your book and they go away. Often I would look around just where we were laying and could see 10 different 'sellers' within my sight!
Now for the restaurant. I would say the food was more of less what I expected for an all inclusive in Egypt, It was OK, always found something to eat but got bored of it by about day 10. The main problem is the total lack of organisation. They would often run out of cups, plates, spoons, chips, ketchup etc. There seem to be lots of staff, but a case of too many chiefs and not enough indians. Tables were left uncleared or when they were cleared, they never relaid with enough cutlery - table of 4 with enough knives and forks but only 1 spoon between you or no serviettes. We often had to wander around for ages trying to find a seat. Senior staff often seen using their mobile phones and ignoring the guests - the Sous Chef was a prime suspect of this, either on his mobile or chatting up the young girls. The head chef also seemed to spend most of his time on his phone.
The restaurant really needs a good shake up. There seems to be lots of staff but everyone telling someone else its their job to do something, so that nothing gets done. They had 1 person cooking eggs at breakfast for 800 + guests so usually queues of 10 or more people.
I really don't know how they will cope when the hotel is full (I asked and it was around 80% full when we were there).
The beach bar was the same, 4 staff but only 1 actually serving. Sometimes there were 15-20 people queuing.
There seemed to be quite of entertainment but we didn't bother with it so I can't comment. The guests were around 90-95% russian so presume this would be reflected in the entertainment.

The 'beach' was a gravel slope into water infested with jelly fish so we only ventured in once. There are no beautiful Red Sea fish around whatsoever, think you only see them when you go on a boat trip. We were booked for a snorkelling trip but it was cancelled as it was so windy.

All in all, we wanted 2 weeks rest in the sun and that's what we got. But I wouldn;t go again to the area as the swimming is not a patch on Sharm and outside the hotel it is quite run down. And I really don't see how the hotel will cope in the height of the season (reception told me they would be full from this week onwards) with lack of basic items such as toilet rolls, cups, saucers, towels. etc.

Me and my friends visited Egypt for the first time and liked the hotel overall. There as a huge territory for different kinds of activities and nicely decorated with flowers, several swimming pools and more than enough space for tending. The hotel seemed to be full but there was no feeling that it was crowded. The main restaurant has enough space for everybody and food on buffets was always replaced when needed. I would just note that there could be more variety from day to day but if you are staying for a week - it is fine.
As for the staff most of them are very nice people, smiling and joking. really made us relaxed and enojoyed our vacations. Good activities presented by the animation team made us also not feel bored organizing some dance cources and aquarobic and every evening show.
I would deffinately recommend this hotel to families, friends with positive way of thinking.

This was a great hotel, i was apprehensive at first as the price was pretty low, i thought i would get what i paid for, but wow it was actually very nice.

We arrived in a large group at around 11pm and they opened up the restaurant for us to eat, the bar was a great atmosphere and the hotel was very clean, everyday housekeeping would make a shape out of towels which often made me and the wife smile.

Breakfast had a great selection, from continental to cooked, ( i highly recommend the pancakes) just be aware at breakfast, try not to eat anything that has to be picked up by hands, ie. bread rolls ect.

The whole two weeks i was there a waiter worked everyday, she was delightful and acted as a long time friends, it was a professional and lovely experience.

The area around the hotel was great too, i could eat at any of the other five hotels on the strip. The beach was great and the bar in the swimming pool was great too, the barman actually remembered my drink after the first day and had it ready immediately when i arrived.

I really enjoyed this hotel and will be returning!

Room Tip: Stay high up as the entrance area is a place for shoppers. Also offers some lovley views
