we have visited Egypt many times & we loved this hotel, the staff are excellent, the rooms were clean & tidied every day, we adopted the local cat when we were there & often found it waiting outside our room to be let in.
the pools are lovely & clean, the slides could of been open for longer times though as it was very restrictive, have a ride on Moses the camel, my kids loved him.
the wifi is pricey & unless you sit in reception then you wont get any signal, its cheaper to get your own local sim card.
the food is good, its pretty much the same where ever you go in Egypt AI, its always aimed at the Russians (odd concoctions of peas, carrots & mayonnaise & mash potatoe for breakfast) but there is always something good to eat, the breakfasts were always spot on with omelettes & pancakes!
the only thing missing was a decent beach (for sea life/snorkeling) there is a beach on the lagoon which is great for little ones as its shallow, sandy & no waves but we like our fish, coral & the nearest beach was a trek & the beach was always full of kite surfers so not safe for snorkeling.
The Russians - Where do i start? there rude, arrogant, will push in dinner queues, shout at peoples kids & are generally awful! all i can say is don't be so English & give as good as you get!! .....for a country that's on the bones of its bum, the Russian ladies certainly like there breast implants, hair extensions, designers threads and there is many a giggle of them posing page 3 style for the photos lol!
