This hotel is a must welcoming and spotlessly clean. The deluxe sea view are very spacious with excellent views looking across at Saudi Arabia. You can have a nice relaxing cocktail in the lounge bar, or even a game of billiards, You can book trips through the hotel without getting hassled in the streets all very relaxed. Also situated in the hotel is the dive center Sea Dancer. What more can I say it was a perfect break. Great for all families, couples, solo, .

We stayed here for 4 nights in the 2 bedroom suite that over looks the ocean. It was wonderful! The staff was very very friendly and kind. We always felt so welcome here. The guys that cleaned our rooms were so nice and pleasant. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very spacious and bright and cheery. Good comfy beds. Nice big curtains to keep the sun from waking us up in the morning. Quiet A/C's. We had a large balcony that we could sit on everyday and look out to the ocean. They offer free breakfast everyday which was delicious. The waiter, Yasser, was so pleasant. This location is the best. It is right on the beach but far enough from the smack center of everything that the hagglers are never bothering you. It's right across from the Funny Mummy which serves great food and good prices. Many other restaurants nearby too. You really never have to go anywhere if you stay here, unless you want to go shopping down the promenade and get bothered by all the hagglers trying to force you into their shops. It also has a gorgeous and well kept swimming pool and free wi fi. We were so sad to leave and would definitely come back. We HIGHLY recommend this place.

Room Tip: The upstairs suite with 2 bedrooms and a living room was wonderful. We enjoyed the huge balcony ever...

Stayed here for 5 nights and was very pleased with the rooms, cleanliness and the staff who were very attentive and pleasant. Beach towels were large and available. Location was in town and super markets/various restaurants were easily accessible. Breakfast was good and staff went the extra mile to inform the restaurant to serve us a late breakfast beyond the stated breakfast hours. Had a laundry place right across it with very reasonable prices and service. Wifi worked well. For the price we paid, we had a fabulous overall experience. And if I do go back to dahab, no doubt I will be coming back. Oh, word of advice, do not use sea dancer dive center located on the hotel premises to book tours in dahab like the mt Sinai trip etc..they will quote you what outside tour agencies quote you but in euros and not Egyptian pounds.

Service: the staff is really helpful - they helped me with checking in by sending a car to pick up my luggage from another place in the town and allowing me to stay until 3pm to check out. They also helped me to book my bus ticket.

Value: I found this hotel is the best value compared to other hotels at the same rate in town.

We have just returned from a week at the Acacia Hotel where we completed a PADI open water course with Sea Dancer. The accommodation was superb! My room was great - clean and comfy and perfect with a great balcony. We ate in the hotel a few times and each time the food was perfect. Breakfast was served promptly. All the staff were helpful and cheerful at all times and went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home! Yassir who works in the evening is such a sweet person and a credit to the hotel. I fell in love with all the Dogs and Cats and cannot thank Acacia enough for helping the animals and protecting their little pack. It was the one thing that really upset me in Dahab - although most street animals are fed well on scraps there is little love and concern for their wellbeing and Sally and Nienke (of Sea Dancer Dive Centre) and the hotel staff are different - they care! If you stay there please put a little something in the Acacia Animal Welfare box on reception as it will go towards spaying and neutering as well as tick and flea treatments to keep the animals healthy. If all the hotels were as caring as Acacia Dahab would be a little haven for our four legged friends. The animals are not threatening in any way what so ever and it is so nice to have them around. The pool is clean and well kept as with all the facilities. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely go back. Dahab has obviously been very affected by the 'Arab Spring' and tourism is a bit low which makes the shop and restaurant keepers a little 'desperate' but they are all polite and friendly. I felt very safe there and would greatly recommend it as a brilliant place to visit. If you are thinking of doing your dive training or diving with Sea Dancer do not hesitate - they made it a breeze. I have submitted a separate review of my experience under Sea Dancer.

Room Tip: Definitely go for one with a balcony on the first floor overlooking the pol and sea

I came here with my boyfriend in Nov, and can highly reccomend. Firstly the location is ideal, right in the centre of town. Rooms are modern and clean, with excellent showers, and the ones with private terraces look directly out to the sea. There are also quilts on the beds, which is a nice touch, if like me you don’t like sleeping with just a sheet. Staff here are all very friendly and professional. Breakfast is very nice, as is lunch & dinner. The restaurant is bedhouin style, with a few tables right by the sea, and a roof terrace good for sun worshipers. Cocktails and Milkshakes served here are some of the best in town. You can also go snorkelling right from re restraurants edge.
As mentioned in previous reviews, there are many cats and dogs in the area, but please note that there is pretty much nowhere in Dahab where you will get away from this. If you do not like cats or dogs, I would suggest you take your holiday elsewhere (and maybe out of Egypt all together). Staff will provide water bottles for the cats if they pester you for food whilst eating, and the dogs I found very well behaved (and super cute).
All in all, I can muchly recommend Acacia hotel (and Sea Dancer dive centre) for a very pleasant stay in Dahab!!

On first arriving the place looked lovely - a welcome break from busy Cairo and 5 days in the desert. We decided to have lunch by the pool - when a pack of dogs came through the hotel, into the pool and pool area and gathered around the table we were sitting at. We tried to shoo them away but they kept coming back - the thought of having to deal with this everyday when tring to relax around the pool was too much - I went to the manager who was great - all the staff had sticks which they used to chase the marauding packs away and as I found we had just arrived at a bad time!! There are dogs and cats everywhere in Dahab - so after my initial shock I settled in and got used to it under the watchful eye of the hotel staff. The hotel is indeed the pick in the area compared to all the others we walked past. It is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is great every morning. You can pick from a variety of options on the breakfast menu so you dont just have to have the same thing everyday. Of course they do great towel decorations on your bed everyday wghich seems to be the thing in Dahab abd Sharm. The staff are great, the meals were all very nice and the location is perfect - a nice stroll into down and the market area. There is a Padi dive centre at the hotel - which we used just to hire some snorkels and fins from and the best part is you can snorkel from right out in front of the hotel - great fish and coral. We live in Australia on the Great Barrier Reef and weren't expecting the reef to be so good - but it was brilliant. Nice relaxing place and very cool refereshing pool and comfy sun lounges. Our room was lovely with a nice verandah overlooking the pool.

Only negative - and this is not of the hotel is the very pushy touts in front of the restaurants that line the water front - maybe if they let you get witihn two feet of a menu and actually have a look they might get a customer - too much hassle!! We wnded back at Acacia Dahab.
