We stayed here for 4 nights in the 2 bedroom suite that over looks the ocean. It was wonderful! The staff was very very friendly and kind. We always felt so welcome here. The guys that cleaned our rooms were so nice and pleasant. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very spacious and bright and cheery. Good comfy beds. Nice big curtains to keep the sun from waking us up in the morning. Quiet A/C's. We had a large balcony that we could sit on everyday and look out to the ocean. They offer free breakfast everyday which was delicious. The waiter, Yasser, was so pleasant. This location is the best. It is right on the beach but far enough from the smack center of everything that the hagglers are never bothering you. It's right across from the Funny Mummy which serves great food and good prices. Many other restaurants nearby too. You really never have to go anywhere if you stay here, unless you want to go shopping down the promenade and get bothered by all the hagglers trying to force you into their shops. It also has a gorgeous and well kept swimming pool and free wi fi. We were so sad to leave and would definitely come back. We HIGHLY recommend this place.

Stayed here for 5 nights and was very pleased with the rooms, cleanliness and the staff who were very attentive and pleasant. Beach towels were large and available. Location was in town and super markets/various restaurants were easily accessible. Breakfast was good and staff went the extra mile to inform the restaurant to serve us a late breakfast beyond the stated breakfast hours. Had a laundry place right across it with very reasonable prices and service. Wifi worked well. For the price we paid, we had a fabulous overall experience. And if I do go back to dahab, no doubt I will be coming back. Oh, word of advice, do not use sea dancer dive center located on the hotel premises to book tours in dahab like the mt Sinai trip etc..they will quote you what outside tour agencies quote you but in euros and not Egyptian pounds.

Service: the staff is really helpful - they helped me with checking in by sending a car to pick up my luggage from another place in the town and allowing me to stay until 3pm to check out. They also helped me to book my bus ticket.

Value: I found this hotel is the best value compared to other hotels at the same rate in town.

We have just returned from a week at the Acacia Hotel where we completed a PADI open water course with Sea Dancer. The accommodation was superb! My room was great - clean and comfy and perfect with a great balcony. We ate in the hotel a few times and each time the food was perfect. Breakfast was served promptly. All the staff were helpful and cheerful at all times and went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home! Yassir who works in the evening is such a sweet person and a credit to the hotel. I fell in love with all the Dogs and Cats and cannot thank Acacia enough for helping the animals and protecting their little pack. It was the one thing that really upset me in Dahab - although most street animals are fed well on scraps there is little love and concern for their wellbeing and Sally and Nienke (of Sea Dancer Dive Centre) and the hotel staff are different - they care! If you stay there please put a little something in the Acacia Animal Welfare box on reception as it will go towards spaying and neutering as well as tick and flea treatments to keep the animals healthy. If all the hotels were as caring as Acacia Dahab would be a little haven for our four legged friends. The animals are not threatening in any way what so ever and it is so nice to have them around. The pool is clean and well kept as with all the facilities. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely go back. Dahab has obviously been very affected by the 'Arab Spring' and tourism is a bit low which makes the shop and restaurant keepers a little 'desperate' but they are all polite and friendly. I felt very safe there and would greatly recommend it as a brilliant place to visit. If you are thinking of doing your dive training or diving with Sea Dancer do not hesitate - they made it a breeze.
