Spent a couple of hours snorkelling here as part of an excursion but was slightly disappointed. Too many people crowded into a small space. My wife had difficulty getting into the water as you have to cross jagged, uneven coral, eventually got there after being physically carried by a Bedouin & passed to the guide! We were given a route to follow but this was being criss-crossed by other parties. My wife got kicked a couple of times as did one of my daughters. The varieties of fish were disappointing, we saw far more snorkelling from our hotel. Leaving the water was the same, only route was over dead coral. It may be good for diving but not for snorkelling, much better locations with far fewer people.
