This is a very nice rock feature coming right up out of the ocean. You will see plenty of birds and some sea lions, but due to the nature of the rock, there is limited room. The fun part is to snorkel or dive the rock. Your guide should watch the current and of course go with the current but it was no problem to go through the large spit in the rock. There is a smaller split and many times you cannot pass due to the currents or swells. When we were at the entrance we heard a pop and watched a rock drop in. Not a common occurrence but enough for our guide to say the current was too strong and we can not go through. No connection, just what the guide said. If you are in the Galapagos, it would be a shame to miss this land formation. My guess is most people visit on longer cruises but we saw plenty of small boats doing day trips as well as tour operators in Puerto Ayora offering the trip
