Check in was quick, our room was great but the food was awful. We ate in the Italian Place the first night, very expensive and the food was not more than so-so. We ate at the buffet the next morning and it was GROSS. I would have rather gone to McDonalds or Burger King for a much better breakfast and it would have been better. We love Atlantic City and have stayed in all the "major" hotels and I just love the room decor the best! Happy Travels!

My husband and I recently stayed here one night for his 30th birthday. We absolutely loved the place. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was larger than most hotel bathrooms and the elevators to the higher floors were very quick. Check in took about 15 minutes and check out was a breeze. If you stay here, you must check out the ego lounge. The bar is conveniently located in the casino and my husband loved the NFL Sunday ticket so that he could watch all the games.

If we return to Atlantic City, we would definately stay here. It is very expensive on the weekends, but not bad for a Sunday night.

Just returned from our first trip to Atlantic City. We stayed at the Trump's Taj Mahal. Our room was excellent and had a great view of the ocean and other hotels. TV was a little small but we only watched the news in the morning so it was ok. Overall the room was nice.
We found the staff to be very friendly at the check in and check out - by chance we had the same lady and she was so friendly and very nice.
Our experince with the food was not good. We were given a coupon for a free breakfast buffet at the Sultan Feast. Terrible.
Biscuits, gravy, meat were all cold. Asked for coffee that never arrived and waiter never returned. So we tried the Bombay Cafe for dinner - also another big mistake. Gentlemen at the entrance was rude because we did not know to go by him to a hostess-a real jerk. One again the food was not very good. We did eat at the Hard Rock and their food was good but the music was so loud we could not talk.
We are not first time travelers - have been over most of the United States. Las Vegas is our favorite spot to go and we have been there 4 times in the last 5 years. Trump should get some advice from them on how to run restaurantsl

When we arrived at the Taj we were just checking in when the computers, phone lines, all crashed together. We hung around for about 20 minutes but still couldn't check in so we were asked to come back later.
We arrived back about 4.30pm to find long lines at reception but staff gave out iced bottles of water to everyone waiting . They also gave vouchers for a free drink in the bar and a meal in the Bombay restaurant to us and others who were held up.
Best of all though, when we asked for a really quiet room, we were upgraded to a junior suite that was amazing.
Fantastic views of the boardwalk and ocean. Superking size bed with jacussi in room, 2 bathrooms, wall mounted tvs etc.. It really made our stay special.
The hotel is very big and the only fault I could find is it needs to supply more information to guests as to the lay out of the area. I didn't realise there was a pool and sunbathing area until I saw it from our room!
I would stay there again, it is great for all ages and security at all elevators made you feel safe.
