i loved staying at the tropicana, and was super happy to find out when i first visited and opened a card and stayed in a room for the night that i was gonna recieve a free room with in two weeks.. just for opening the card and staying the night! with in that month i stayed four times,but never recieved my comps in the mail,and we asked promotions,they simply said that it would come. well today i called to make reservation and let them know that i never recieved the free room that i was promised. The lady who helped me,carol put me hold for far to long, and gave me an additude and huffed and puffed when i took a few seconds looking for my account number and put me back on hold with out saying anything.( if she would have informed me the first time she put me hold what information i needed to have prepared-would have had it ready...i assumed my name was all they needed). after she finally comes back on the phone she gets my information and talks to her supervisor. She asks me why i wouldnt have called them sooner and that there is NOTHING they can do for me. While i did take a while to get to them about it,..(2 months,if you dont consider asking them about it when we went to the promotions desk a few weeks later)i would have never thought because they made a mistake somewhere-that i would end up being the one who got punished. After speaking with the first rude lady and getting nowhere, i demanded to speak with her supervisor, who was even less helpfull,and more rude. i would not recomend staying at the tropicana, because the customer service there...all around the casino is unbelievably bad. And most of all, they lie to people to get you to keep coming back to their casino, and then show no remorse or sympathy for your troubles.
