Just retured from a 2 day stay. The new tower rooms are very very nice. New Havana addition is nicest in Atlantic City. Many dining options. Carmine portions are so huge that you only need order one entree and share. Ate at Wellingtons very expensive and not worth the price no matter what the view. Beds however are very hard and not to comfortable to say the least.
Won 1,000 on slots & 200.00 on blackjack so can't complain about casino. Go to the Imax and see one of the shows. Found this to be really cool experience. Havana After Dark save your money and dont waste your time.
unless you like Latin Music and a lot of of perfomers dancing with life size banana's. We didn't even stay to the end of show. All in all would go back again just do a few things different. There is many entertainment options and good places to eat.
Linda

We booked the $49 special room (not in the newer tower) for Thursday, Feb. 10, which included 2 free breakfasts, and had a great time! Although a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, we found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. At no point were we treated rudely, as others have been. We were even moved up to a room on the 49th floor looking across at the new tower with the beach and ocean to the right.

We enjoyed the new shops and took in an excellent IMAX movie (NASCAR) that evening. Seats were very comfortable in the theater and there were only about 10 of us in attendance. Also, we had a good time at the casino; plus, our room was clean and fresh (non-smoking). There was about a 20 minute wait the next morning for the free breakfast, but the food was good for a buffet and the wait worth it.

We had a great time and will return. Perhaps it's better to come during the week (Sunday-Thursday).

My husband and I booked a room in the Havana Tower for Valentine's Day THREE WEEKS in advance. We also made reservations for dinner and spa services. Imagine my surprise when we showed up on Saturday afternoon at 5:00 pm and were told that our room was not ready. And here is the kicker - it would not be ready for THREE HOURS!!! Terrible, but would not be so bad if it were true. . .in actuality they did not have our room ready until 11:15 PM!!!!! We missed our massages and our dinner reservations (silly me thought we could shower and change before our 10:15 dinner reservation). Despite all of that, the most obscene thing was how arrogant, unapologetic and unaccomodating they were. We paid over $350 for the room and they would not even give us a discount (trust me, we asked). No comps., no accomodation, nothing. Absolutely brutal. What was supposed to be a relazing and romatic weekend turned out frustrating and stressful. NIGHTMARE.

Ihave seen many Atlantic City shows and would rank "Havana after Dark' high on the list. VERY ACTIVE , WELL PACED, INVIGORATING SHOW. Saw
it for the second time. { rare thing} and enjoyed both performaces.
Room was spotless and quiet. Parking is a little odd but can be mimimised by leaving the baggages at the front lobby with my traveling companion.. Almost too many places to eat Good D.J. at the lower level and we enjoyed some late night dancing.. The new Quarters is interesting and well done even as work continues to finish it up. I was there on a non busy day but there was stil la fair amount of activity.

Checked in at 5pm on 1/28
After a 20 minute wait in line we were given a room in the smoking area which was not requested. I called the receptionist who was pretty snotty and was told to come back to the front desk. They gave me another room in the West Tower which was nonsmoking and much newer and nicer. I noticed this was a adjoining room and the door would not lock from my side. After I called maintenance an employee came up after only 10 minutes and fixed the lock. I asked him to explain the noise to the people in the next room and was told not to worry about it. Sure enough the person next door came out furious thinking I was trying to break into their room and made a scene, I thought this could have been prevented. The shower was lukewarm even when turned all the way up. On the plus side the room and bathroom were very large and clean.

I ate at a steakhouse in the casino called Wellingtons and thought the service was very good, the food was outstanding and it had a nice view of the ocean. I walked around "the Quarter" the new shopping /dining / entertainment complex and thought it was pretty cool. They had a great restaurant I ate at in NYC called Carmines and some neat stores. I went to the Comedy Stop that evening and had a lot of fun, there were 3 comedians and they put on a decent show. The casino was very big and I thought it was nicer than some in the area.

Overall the hotel was about average but the customer service and some of the incidents I experienced really brought it down. I would have enjoyed my stay much more if I was given a nonsmoking room to begin with and the employees were a little friendlier.
