“Clean but out dated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

We went for the first time through Jolly tours Cornwall. It was well planned and the staff excellent. Special thanks to Bernie our amazing bus driver. The other Hotels had alot more to offer and i felt a little cheated that way. We spent more time at the ceasers than our assinged hotel. the staff were very helpful and kind. The sheets clean.

Horrible is all I can say. We picked Trump because of the location near Boardwalk Hall, and that will never happen again. It was so convienent, but what a dump. Dump Plaza would be a better name.

The decor in the rooms was from the 80's. Actually, everything in the room was from the 80's including the worn bed linens. The tub and shower were gross, the toilet had trouble flushing, and the gold colored bed speads were worn out. I was actaully afraid to sleep in the bed. The matress must have been from the 80's as well because when you laid down you rolled to the middle.

The one thing that the room had going for it was the beautiful view we had. It's unfortunate for the staff that the place is such a dump, becuase maybe they'd have more business if they fixed up the place. All the staff we encountered were wonderful.

Stay somewhere else...anywhere else....even if the room is free!

i chose this hotel because it was next to board walk hall as we were attending a concert on 4-27-2013
i will tell you
this is the dirtiest place i have ever staying in
lets start with the room
it had 1 light and very dark no outlets to charge a phone and a tv from 1982
and has not been updated since 1978 cig burns on the floor dirty sinks and tub
also the when walking around the hotel we noticed the garbage cans and baskets buy the entrances and elevators they were over flowing with garbage and coffee cups
this place is filthy . even the lights in the casino had dust caked on them

do not stay here
service and hotel stinks

I took my employees on an after tax season trip to Atlantic City. I so wish I had read the reviews before booking. Housekeeping sucked (mold in the bathtub, carpets not vacuumed, etc). The only good thing about the stay was the bed and mattress. Slept like a baby. Window view of the beach was horrible as the windows were filthy. Only one restaurant was open and boy was it overpriced. The A/C had to be repaired twice in a four night stay! Go next door and stay at Ceasars!

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else!

We stayed here due to its proximity to Boardwalk Hall when coming to town for a concert. The room was Motel 8 with a view. The place is in serious need of remodeling and upgrades in every way. Outside and inside the place is dirty and moldy with broken lights and signs. The lobby is beyond ugly with mirrored columns everywhere blocking your view and making it like a (not-so) fun house to find the desk to check in.
The bathroom was moldy, the showerhead was from the 70s with no water pressure but lots of air.
There is a tv and a mini fridge but that is where "amenities" end. There was a coffee maker but no cups or coffee - although we did not call down to rectify this.
The view was nice, there are strange unfinished balcony ledges outside of the ocean front windows.
The casino itself was old and relatively dead, it seemed like they were actually going for a low end crowd.
I certainly wont stay here again for any reason.

I'm not sure why anyone would come here. Are you that hard up for gambling? This hotel is awful, no room service, all the restaurants are shut down. It's dirty, there's mold in the shower, the windows need to be cleaned, and there are lights out everywhere. I bet this place was something back in the 80's, but Atlantic City on the whole is just trying too hard to be Vegas I think.

Great hotel, amazing location super clean, friendly staff beautiful casino will highly recommend this hotel to my friends and without doubt will stay again on my next visit, the only remark is that I wish it was a military rate since I am military and a lot of hotels offer government rate.
