Since it opened in 2002 I knew the French Quarter Buffet was a winner.
I learned that it was patterned after the World's Fair Buffet at the RIO in Las Vegas which is in a class all by itself.
The French Quarter Buffet had many food stations that serve different styles of food.
American, Chinese, Italian, New Orleans cooking, Steaks, pizza, heroes you name it.
The salad bar is unto itself in varied choices. There's even cappucino.
But- what is really worth saving up your calories for is the DESSERT BAR. Proceed at your own risk!
Cakes, pies, canollis, triffle, bread pudding, rice pudding, - -creme brulee-- all done up by a pastry chef that went to the right schools, believe me.
EAT, ENJOY, and FILL-UP the belly on these really superb edibles and
leave some room for, well . . . . . actually nothing else.
tip: if you're with someone in a wheelchair, you can by-pass the L O N G lines by simply entering at the middle ramp and proceeding right to the cashier on the right, pay and wait for immediate seating.
