My rooms are always comps, and each room has a coffee pot and small fridge! The beds and pillows are usually quite comfortable as well. Once, I was given a "suite" and it was the best suite I have ever seen!

We have been coming to Showboat Casino for a couple of years, always comp rooms for two nights plus a few other freebees and enjoy it immensely. We will be returning for a two night stay on October 24th and 25th. The New Tower rooms are beautiful which we always request and they are always available.

We had a comp. room for 2 nights at Showboat on October 4 & 5...our first time to stay there. Took the advice of TripAdvisor reviews and asked for the New Orleans Tower room(12th floor) WOW! The room was terrific! The bathroom floors glistened so much we could see ourselves in them! Brass fixtures and the bathtub was super large...perfect for a bubble bath! This week was the beginning of the union staff strike and it took 2 hours for our baggage to get to our room...all we got was "We're sorry we took so long"..made me wonder where our stuff was all that time. No maid service on day 2 and called for towels but it took over an hour for someone to bring them to us. Even with these two downfalls, we did utilize our BOGO buffet and enjoyed it immensely! We hope the service union settles soon! We want to go back soon to visit our money!

A friend and I stayed at the Showboat once in June and once in August (we received comp rooms both times). The hotel is wonderful! Very clean, large rooms and great bathrooms with separate room for toilet. The staff was very friendly and the casino is wonderful also. Showboat seems very generous with their comps--they also gave us a comped buffet which was great (I think they have the best buffet in AC). Nightlife (other than the casino) was nothing great, but supposedly the Borgata is good for that. I will definitely be back!
