Just returned from a one night stay at Caesars in Atlantic City. Our room was comped so we expected to be put in the older North Tower section, but for a free night we really didn't care as long as it was clean.
We were pleasantly surprised to be put in the Centurian Tower.
Our room (2802) was a large oceanfront corner room with 2 large picture windows. (one looking out direct ocean and the other looking down the beach..lovely)
We had a kingsize bed, (very comfortable pillowtop mattress), table and 2 upholstered chairs, armoire with a TV and refrigerator. Large closet with safe, iron and board. The bathroom was very large, 2 sinks, seperate toilet area, nice shower and tub, everything new and spotless. The room itself was decorated in rich gold and beiges. Very elegant.
The casino is just steps from the elevator.
Upon checkin we were given 2 coupons for free breakfast at the buffet. (a nice surprise). It was the nicest buffet breakfast we ever had. Excellent variety and very good quality.
We have stayed at every casino hotel in Atlantic City over the last 10 years and our new favorite is Caesars!!!

New King in AC

I stayed at Caesars during two trips in January. I previously held the belief that, in AC, there was only really one Vegas style, first class Hotel/Casino namely the Borgata. I felt that all of the other properties were a notch below. Unfortunately the Borgata has become a victim of its own success and now is rivaled, if not replaced as the King of AC by Caesars.

During my first trip which was a 30th birthday outing for a friend, I requested a room upgrade as I was traveling with two other guys. Without question I was upgraded to a suite in the south tower which contained a sauna, jacuzzi, eight person wet bar, dining room, living room, master suite, etc, etc. What a room !!! The service matched the room. My call for an extra bed and blankets was answered promptly. In fact everyone from the front desk clerk (Thank you very much Maribel!) to the car valet met me with a great attitude.

I revisited Caesars 10 days later alone for a little poker weekend. My room this time was in the Centurion Tower. Smaller room but same "WOW" factor. New carpeting & furnishings, flat panel TVs, comfortable bed and more extras than I could mention.

I do spend much of my time when in AC at the tables but by no means could be considered a high roller. I no longer receive comps from the Borgata as I guess I don't gamble enough to compete with the big boys from NY. I had pretty much done most of my playing at the Harrahs properties due to their Total Rewards programand stayed mostly at Harrahs or Showboat. I have no complaints with either of these hotels. Harrahs clearly has their people thinking of the customer at all of their properties in AC. Caesars has reached even a higher level with their accomodations and with the opening of the Pier shops and restaurants, surpasses the Borgata for dining and shopping.

Move over Borgata. There is a new King in AC!!!

In September of 2004, I went to a job fair for disabled workers over at the Atlantic City Convention Center. After that, I stopped at one of the restaurants at Caesar's to have dinner before I went home, and the food there was just excellent. I did not stay there overnight.

In fact, I usually walk through Caesar's on my way to the bus station. The ladies' rooms are very clean and spotless; the hotel's decor is just excellent, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I will contine to use the facilities of Caesar's everytime that I go down to Atlantic City.

After reading negative reviews, we were just a bit worried about what to expect at Caesars. Fortunately, we had absolutely no cause for concern and were very pleasantly surprised by the ambiance we encountered upon entering our very luxurious accommodations ... an oceanfront room in the beautiful Centurion Tower. The very roomy marble bath with tv built into the mirror (crazy!) and separate toilet area was a total bonus to the exceptionally large room with big flat screen HDTV. The hotel was not full when we checked in probably due to some pretty inclement weather conditions. I requested the Centurion and the very pleasant young woman at the front desk was more than accommodating ... she gave us the best room available and it quite honestly couldn't have been better! Also, dinner at Budikan at Caesar's Pier was incredible, that is if you don't mind the exorbitant check at the end of your fabulous meal. Don't know if we'll go back, but it certainly was worth it for the dining experience alone! Even though there were only 4 of us they gave us our requested table in the Opium Den ... loved that! Next time we'll try the Continental next door, which we hear from all is excellent and not nearly as cost prohibitive as Budikan. Bottom line here is to ask for what you want ... it never hurts and just may surprise you with positive results! If you don't at least ask, you'll NEVER get!

It amazes me to read the bad reviews on here about Caesar's AC. My husband and I have stayed there AT LEAST 20 times..or more. We started as a gold player up unitl last yr...We finally got wise to the levels of play. Sometimes I have booked the room thru the harrahs.com site, sometimes just called from the room offers received in the mail. We now use a service called RFandB.com, and have an assigned host..( anybody with any gambling history should really use this service) Its free and we get comped rooms wherever we go.
Anyhow, back to Caesars..we have stayed in the Temple tower many times, it IS old, but the rooms have always been very clean, and comfortable..AND its close to the casino..at night when you can barely keep an eye open, your room is close!!
Lately we have been staying in the Centurion Tower..now its further to get to, but the rooms are newer. On this particular trip, I was especially thrilled! We got an oceanfront room, with corner windows, so you could see up the coast. The room had just been remodeled. It had a marble foyer, buttons on the wall by the door to push for "privacy please" or "make up room", look ahead in to the bathroom, and it had a television made into the mirror !! Cool!! Nice marble bath and shower, and private toilet area. Then look to the right and you have a large beautiful bedroom, wood and glass behind bed, up to the ceiling..flat screen TV, on a large piece of furniture ( can't think of what its called..lol..) coffee maker, table chairs, hairdryer...etc.
The front desk checkin was and always is great! I do not know what else to say, except that I have always had good service at Caesar's AC...I LOVE IT THERE!! When ever I have had any problems, they have been resolved quickly.
I am now a NEW Diamond Player, I worked hard for it. I am excited about that!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
