My husband, son, daughter-in-law, and I stayed here on Saturday, June 14. We had tickets to a concert and didn't want to drive home to PA that night, and after finding most casinos and beachfront resorts were from $350-$750 a night, decided to stay here. It was great! The hotel is brand new, and so is very clean, the rooms are a bit small but perfect if you just need a place to sleep, and the location is perfect--convenient to beach, piers, etc.
Everybody at the hotel was friendly and helpful, especially Kelli at the front desk. The hotel felt safe, and was extremely quiet at night, with comfortable, clean beds and pillows. No pool, but there's a state-of-the-art fitness center with a nice jacuzzi on the second floor. The breakfast buffet was good--about what you expect from a Marriot property, with made-to-order omlettes and waffles.
Overall, I'd say if you're looking for a "resort" property, this is not what you want, but if you want a nice room for a weekend that's just far enough off the boardwalk to be quiet and not too far for convenience, this is perfect.
