My husband and I visited the Fairfield Resorts(Skyline Tower) on the Thanksgiving holiday. I will begin my review with the check-in.
As my bag clad husband and I entered the lobby, the doormen were a litte slow to open the door. However, I think that they all were taking care of other guests at the time. (there seemed to be 3 doormen) We ended up simply entering as one bellhop exited the lobby.
Things perked up quite a bit as a friendly, professional and smiley frontdesk attendant asked "Checking in Sir?" to my husband. The check-in service was very good. I must note that 2 of the 3 attendants were friendly and smiling. One seemed quite sour and frank. (glad we didn't get her)
The lobby is high-modest in size however, it was very clean and had a modern look with a cool color scheme.(Aqua,Blues, small cut green flowers with yellow buds, modern art throughout) The lobby did remind me of a health spa. There's a gourmet coffee stand across from the frontdesk.
The trip up to the room was pleasant. The elevators are small and the frontdesk person was honest enough to alert us that delays may occur due to the size of the elevators. We didn't experience any at all. The halls were clean, smelled great and appealing.
The room was a delightful surprise. So modern, so clean and so roomy!!!!!! We enjoyed a beautiful fully supplied kitchen, a dining table, living room with large tv/dvd, balcony. The bedroom had a jacuzzi and the bathroom was stocked with nice towels and clean as a whistle.
Skyline tower does not have the glitz of the casino hotels, however, the rooms offer much more than the standard casino hotel room. Oh... 10am checkout time seemed early to me. There is great value at Skyline Towers. Especially for families with kids.
