For my first time in Atlantic City, it was a pretty good vacation. The city itself is a little strange; at night the streets are dead because everyone is busing inside the casinos gambling or seeing a show.

The rooms are very nice, and clean, they redid the hotel a couple years ago so it's in good shape. There are also activities every day like bingo, karaoke or 1$ make-your-own sundaes! There is an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and also an outdoor jacuzzi and terrace where you can tan. They also have tanning beds that are really inexpensive and massages!

The only complaint I have about the hotel is that the elevators were extremely slow!!! Some of the other people we met said that is was only because it was high season. For me, the best time to go was early morning or after 10pm.

The beach is really nice. I'm not sure if it was the time of year that we decided to go, but there was a lot of clams on the beach. You are able to rent beach chairs and umbrellas for the day.

The shopping is great! You can take a little shuttle bus to go to the casinos or to the outlet stores that are a couple of blocks away. There are great deals!

We went to the Skyline Tower for a weekend getaway in a two bedroom unit at the 7th floor. Other floor are no longer available by the time we checked in at 7pm Friday.

The resort is close enough to the board walk, althought it is not in the main section of the stripe where all the big casinos (Ceasars, Trump, etc), it is not too bad to walk to them. But being by it farther away from the main attractions, food variety would be limited if you don't walk to drive or walk (~15 mins) to where all the big casinos located.

The room is a little crowded, it would be better if some end table and extra stand are removed to make it roomier. Carpet is a little dirty and feel very damp, but not to the point it is wet. They did not stock up any cleaning product like dish washer detergent. Not even a sample pack. Being in the 7th floor, we have no view because our windows and balcony is right on the overhang. Floor above will be able to look over the overhang but we can't. But we are close to the 6th floor where the pool and activities are. This is very important because you don't want to depend on this elevator. It is indeed the slowest elevator I have seen in my life (comparable to the Altantic Palace, another resort in Atlantic city). During checkout time, I walk the stairs down. The slowlyness is worst when you can not see where is the elevator when you are in any floor except the ground floor. In the ground floor, I can see where the elevator was, but it seems always station in the penthouse level and not moving.

Pool is clean and warm. There are time when it is crowded. They don't provide towel at the pool, you have to bring towel from the room.

Parking is $6 per day plus tips because it has to be valet parked, no self parking.

  • Liked — roomier than any hotel accomodation
  • Disliked — slowest elevator in the world

We stayed here over Halloween weekend. We had no problems whatsoever. Check in/out and valet parking went smooth. We had a 2 bedroom condo and rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Elevators were a little slow, but tolerable. Short walking distance to the Resort Casino. Great location. Great trip. Would highly recommend.

Five of us stayed in comfortable two bedroom unit with 2 king sized beds on corner of 27th floor with views of lighthouse, marina area and board walk. The master bedroom was large enough to accommodate a cot and we had plenty of towels, beach towels and linens. Coffee for the coffee maker was nice but we had to purchase cream for it in the lobby store. Fortunately it was not too busy and the infamous elevators were quick. Although we were satisfied with Skyline Towers, we will not be returning to Atlantic City because the boardwalk is deserted at night and you cannot see or hear the ocean from it due to eel grass to prevent beach erosion

Heading to Atlantic City with my wife, kids, and mother, I had no idea what to expect. I had been to Las Vegas and knew that was no place for my children (i.e. smut). I was pleasantly surprised to find that Atlantic City afforded me the opportunity to gamble, shop, dine out , and enjoy the beach, boardwalk, and hotel pool without the filth of Las Vegas. Don't get me wrong, I love Vegas, but I definitely don't want my children exposed to the amount of pornography on display there.

Being that I have young children, we made sure to bring grandma along to help babysit. :-) Definitely a must do in any gambling city. The hotel had many kids' activities which helped my mom keep them occupied during our times out. The pool was small but well kept and the boardwalk was very closeby.

Overall, we had a great vacation and the hotel was great. I wish the weather had cooperated a little better, but that's life. I would definitely vacation there again.
