Heading to Atlantic City with my wife, kids, and mother, I had no idea what to expect. I had been to Las Vegas and knew that was no place for my children (i.e. smut). I was pleasantly surprised to find that Atlantic City afforded me the opportunity to gamble, shop, dine out , and enjoy the beach, boardwalk, and hotel pool without the filth of Las Vegas. Don't get me wrong, I love Vegas, but I definitely don't want my children exposed to the amount of pornography on display there.

Being that I have young children, we made sure to bring grandma along to help babysit. :-) Definitely a must do in any gambling city. The hotel had many kids' activities which helped my mom keep them occupied during our times out. The pool was small but well kept and the boardwalk was very closeby.

Overall, we had a great vacation and the hotel was great. I wish the weather had cooperated a little better, but that's life. I would definitely vacation there again.

The Good:
Within walking distance to Boardwalk.
The room was a nice size.
Front desk and bell staff were helpful and friendly.
Easy to drive between casinos etc.

The Bad:
General old and tacky appearance of the resort - on the outside.
Valet parking wasn't great (once or twice was quite long) - and no area to self park.
No restaurant or cafe in hotel.

The Ugly:
The elevators were the slowest I have ever seen in my 30+ years of traveling all over the USA. Once we had to wait over 15 minutes.
Also, the room was smokey - and the previous tenants had smoked on the balcony right in front of the airconditioner and then was sucked into the room.

We were very dissapointed in this vacation! The resort room was nice but that is where it ended. It was almost impossible to get anything from housekeeping. The elevators were a HUGE problem. 3 small elevators for 33 floors. Parking was valet only and you had to tip to use your car. It is about two blocks from the boardwalk and unfortunately it is on the no so happening end of the boardwalk so you had to walk another lengthy distance to get to the fun. Service in the area was rude and food was very expensive. We are still Wyndham fans but this is defintely not one of their better properties!

Overall the Wyndham Skyline tower is an ok resort. The location could be better as it's a block from the boardwalk but it also could be a lot worse (so this wasn't a big deal). The elevators are very slow (most likely due to staff going up and down all day with a special key that blocks out every floor except the one they are going to) I personally saw them doing this more then once, this needs to be addressed and stopped. The housecleaning staff seemed to be very nice and professional up until our last day, one woman in particular was very rude and unprofessional calling my girlfriend a not so nice word while she was cleaning our room. Due to the slow elevators we heard her entire rant about us (which we did not deserve) through the closed door. We complained about it but it still was a crappy way to end our vacation.

I just bought into Wyndham and this was the first time I used my time share... I hope the next one is a better experience.

  • Liked — Spacious rooms, very comfortable and a whirlpool in the bedroom, very romantic.
  • Disliked — Rude housecleaning staff, very slow elevators.

My wife and I just got back from the Wyndam Tower in Atlantic City and we had a great time. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was friendly.
The only down side was paying for parking which is $6.00 a day plus tip every time you want to use your car. The elevators are the slowest ever.
The location is great it is a 5min walk to the board walk and beach. There is a food store about 20min. drive to get food for the week. The cheapest beer and food is at the Irish Pub you should check it out even if you are not Irish. It is cash only but it is only 1.90 for a beer and 2.50 for a mix drink. The food is good and very reasonable compared to the casinos. It was a first visit to A.C. and we would recomend it to everyone. There was alot to do besides just gambling.

  • Liked — The location to the beach and board walk.
  • Disliked — The parking and the elevators.
