Our room was on the 16th floor and afforded splendid views. Spacious and well furnished room with a huge marble shower. Valet parking was efficient and check-in also efficient but impersonal (airport style barriers for queues)
Stunning foyer leading to a very noisy Casino. Restaurants expensive, but we settled for the Buffet. Although there was a fairly long line we only had to wait about ten minutes. A very extensive choise of cosmopolitan foods. A good meal - if a little overpriced. Wine selection limited and poor quality. We were woken up by revellers in the corridor outside our room at 3am. Security from the casino into the hotel area was very good. It seemed to be a 'cut above' the other hotels, as it was off the boardwalk and not subject to unwanted visitors.

Room - The decor of the Borgata is sleek and contemporary. Fans of design will be impressed with the large marble bathroom and glassed shower stall. The toiletries were quite urban and hip as well. Our bed was quite comfy, no lumps. The view was great and the room was spacious enough for me and my boyfriend.

Spa - Pool seemed to close really early so we missed out completely. I was really disappointed. I suspect it was because they wanted you out on the floor gambling.

Location - Now the Borgata is pretty far from the Boardwalk strip, once you're in...you're in. Expect to be eating/drinking/gambling in this one place. There didn't seem to be much else around. It was tough to be doing the fine-dining thing all the time.

Dining - My best dining recommendation is Noodles of the World. Incredibly affordable asian dishes of Pho, Pad Thai, General Tso Chicken, Shanghai Noodles, Wanton Soup, Rice dishes etc. in the middle of the gambling floor, tucked away. Average main was $12-15. Grab a gelato at the Metropolitan for dessert. The Borgata Buffet is not that great at breakfast. You have to wait in line for about 30 minutes for a table, rush through your food so you can make their EARLY check-out time of 11 AM. Kind of a pain. But if you book their breakfast package, its included so you might as well. Just set your alarm to EARLY to beat the wait.

Screw-ups - Ok the Borgata ALSO tried to charge me TWICE as I read another reviewer went through the same thing. They charged me at time of booking and then again after I did the express check-out thing. They were all nice in crediting my card back...but I ended up paying an extra $10 because the Canadian exchange fluctuated between the time of the charge and the credit. So check your credit card bills after your stay!

All in all, not that bad and a decent price.

My boyfriend , well now fiance, booked me for my birthday a room ... a piatto suite to be exact. It is the nicest suite they offer. It Was Absolutly BEAUTIFUL....i didn't wanna leave the room to gamble!!...The tub was like a mini pool..I was in heaven..He booked that room because he was proposing to me the night of my birthday...for any special occasion I would definalty consider booking the suite..You will never forget it.I did take a peek in the regular rooms when they were cleaning...they are also extremely nice...

The Hotel itself is beautiful , the Buffet is also Vert very good. They have tons of food!!.. I also ate room service two nights which was pricey but also very very good..

The casino on the other hand was not my favorite.I have been to many others in AC and Vegas and it was wasen't as good as far as slots..If you don't like to play an extreme amount of money each spin this isn't the place for you!!..I don;t like to so I lost alot of money ..but the tables were very good...there were alot and even though it was very crowded I still found room at many tables because there were so many.. They also have a nice poker room if your into that.
All in all the stay was wonderful..I will definaly try and stay in the suite again! I will maybe just gamble somewhere else :)

While in the Borgata, i was frequently asked if i needed anything . I was never at a loss for something to do. I was treated as I should be treated while away from home. I HIGHLY recommend the Borgata over all other hotels in A C !!

Just returned from a 3 day stay at the Borgata. Have stayed at Flagship and Tropicana before and wanted to try the marina area. Lovely hotel. Clean, bright, modern. Check in went well except when I asked for a AAA discount I was told you need to tell them this when you BOOK your room. They would not take my AAA card. Our room was big, spotless, nice emenities. Loved the pool area. Casino staff very friendly and loose slots. We had drinks at the B bar and ate at the Metropolitan twice. Very nice both places. I just wish the Starbucks opened earlier than 7 a.m. for us early risers!! My husband located the LOVELY waterfront walkway that goes from the Borgata over to Harrahs and on to Trumps. Right near the employee entrance and parking garage. I almost did not want to post this as NO ONE was walking on this and it is a true hidden treasure. Beautiful lighting and plantings and several little overlooks with signs. Need a break from the casino? Go on this walkway. It takes only about 10 minutes to get to Harrahs and another 5 to Trump Marina. All the marina hotels need to publicize this more-or maybe not, so those of us who need some exercise and solace can be alone. We did the Comedy Club one night and loved it. Will definitly be back.
