“Mothers day brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

Soon our family will be Heading to the fabulous Atlantic city Champange brunch .
It is held on the second floor of Caesar's in Nero's !
Not your usual " All you can eat hog pen " .
This is top notch with flowing Champagne, Bloody Mary's , caviar , Sushi made to order , Fish of all kinds ,crab legs , and of course a omelet station .
your host , the Charmimg Betty , will seat you over looking the Atlantic Ocean !
You will be amazed with all the buzzing around and servers that go beyond the call of duty .
Don't miss out , its Sunday only and make a reservation by the windows which are by hard to get .
We go at 11:30 and stay till 2 !
We having been going for Many years ! It just keeps getting better.
Dress up alittle , it's fancy but men don't have to wear ties or jackets .
Give your Mom this gift ! It will be crazy on Mother's Day so we go the weekend after .
It's what my 72 year old mother looks forward to for the last 12 years !

“Enjoyable birthday dinner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

Our party of four was seated on time and our beverage order was delivered promptly, along with a basket of warm assorted breads. Appetizers of shrimp cocktail, clams casino, antipasto and capprese were all delicious, with the clams being the standout. Two of us had bone-in prime rib, cooked to order medium rare, one had the NY strip medium well, and our fourth had the braised short ribs. We shared sides of lobster mashed and garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The prime rib, while tender, just didn't have the spectacular flavor like in the "olden days" at Nero's. Perhaps a different beef supplier, but disappointing. For dessert we shared the molten chocolate cake. It was plated with a vanilla sauce and again, it was good but not as chocolaty as in days past.

Overall a pleasant experience, good service, nice room but the food isn't quite up to its former greatness.

“Not consistent”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

We have been to Nero's in Las Vegas, Windsor and now Atlantic City. The restaurant is hot and cold. We've had excellent dinners and terrible dinners.

Our reservation was at 9 pm but we were not seated until about 915. Our appetizers did not arrive until about 9:50 a full 30 minutes after we were seated. This is too long for any restaurant and especially one like Nero's. The restaurant did not even seem to be that busy.

Dinner was ok, but unremarkable. As I mentioned at the beginning of my review, we have been several times and to 3 different Nero's and the only thing I can say with consistency is that the Nero's experience is inconsistent. (see my review of Nero's Windsor).

If you are staying in a Ceasar's property there are usually other places to eat and I would try some place else - unless you are a gambler and want to take a chance. The inconsistency I have experienced prevents me from giving a better review.

“Sunday Brunch/Girl's Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

We were seated immediately for our 11:30 reservation at Nero's for brunch. Although the hostess was a bit on the snooty side (we weren't dripping in gold and diamonds like some of the other clientele), we found ourselves at a table situated with a window view of the boardwalk and ocean. Made us feel better about spending any time inside on a beautiful, sunny day. Our first tough decision was choosing between mimosas or bloody marys, both of which were well-mixed. The choice of food was almost overwhelming, so we decided to do a 'walk-through' first prior to even putting anything on our plates! There was filet of beef, grilled swordfish, carved turkey and all kinds of pasta along with a great variety of seafood including shrimp, crab claws, oysters and fresh sushi. This was all in addition to breakfast items of made to order waffles, crepes, omelets, etc. as well as desserts to die for. To not at least sample the majority of what was offered would have been a crime, so my recommendation is to have no plans later that require you to be somewhere on time! The wait staff was amazing. Our waitress had to leave half way through our 'stay', but left us in the very capable hands of two fine waiters who also brought the chef by to speak with us. :) All this while our mimosa flutes were never allowed to empty (and we never had to ask for more). After about 3 hours, we left after experiencing the best brunch ever. Any trip to AC would be incomplete without experiencing Nero's for Sunday brunch.

“Amazing brunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

The Sunday brunch at Nero's in Caesar's, Atlantic City is absolutely awesome. You can have sushi made to order or pick a selection from pre-made items, have oysters on the half shell, cold shrimp, crab legs, prime rib, lamb chops, salmon, filet mignon, lox, smoked sable, smoked trout, eggs benedict, waffles, crepes, made to order omelets and actually some healthy choices like salad and vegetables. Service stopped by constantly with an offer of additional mimosas or even to cut and toast a bagel. This is well-worth the current price of $49.99. Enjoy!
