Made a return visit to Resorts for a quick stay in October. Room rate was reasonable for a Friday night. I had stayed with Resorts in the past...but last stay was about 4 years ago! They have renovated the check in/lobby area...this is nice...but once again, just like at the Tropicana...you have to carry luggage, and all, thru the casino to get to the elevators. This is a joke! People...I'm at your hotel...don't you think I will find my way to your casino? Room was nice and clean...as in the past. One big drawback was hotel/casiono workers were on stike at the time. This left the buffet the only place to eat at on the Resorts porperty. Not that great! We are fans of Breadsticks located at the property. In the casino I found it very hard to get a drink, once again! Resorts must be taking lessons from Tropicanna on how not to serve drinks to folks who gamble. Here's how I can break it down best. Cleanliness=9...Buffett=3...Casino=7
Casino wait staff=0. Will I stay at Resorts for my next stay? Sure! By the way...if the weather is nice...park your own car. The lot is a very short walk out the main door.

Just returned from Resorts Atlantic City for 4 days October 3-6, 2004, with mom and best friend. Had a WONDERFUL time despite a labor strike going on throughout Atlantic City. I read the other reviews about Resorts and can't relate at all. The hotel was absolutely beautiful - Renezvous Tower - new, designer decorated rooms, HUGE marble bathrooms, security, nice staff, loose slots. What more do people want? Staff was nice. Food wasn't gourmet, but as good as any chain restaurant, but it was comped, so who cares?

I travel alot throughout the country, and this was one of the nicest hotels I've been to anywhere.
I enjoyed the location - next to Trump Taj Mahal and Showboat, and a nice walk down the boardwalk. I felt safe in spite of the strikers.
Parking garage was nice with security and close to elevators. Casino easy to maneuver and find friends.

Apparently Ocean Tower isn't nearly as nice. But stay in Rendezvous Tower. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and i played at this casino for years and usually we enjoyed playing there. On 10/01/04 my wife and i were playing in different areas in the casino. While i was waitng for her to finish
playing slots an extremely rude and nasty employee told me if i was not playing i should leave the casino. I left with my several hundred dollars to play at trumps taj mahal next
door. Resorts lately has a very poorly trained staff
with an attitude problem.

In Aug of 2004 I was there at this resort and they have bad everything food, service, staff, casino they should be closed down for there dirty rooms. I have never stayed any place that was so dirty in all my life and the staff looked like they were bused in from another country they spoke little english. The front desk staff are donald trump rejects they should all be fired and don't contact management they don't have a clue to think they added a new building. Don't make me laugh i prayed to god on my visit there just to be released from this hotel of dirty hell the tiolet didn't even flush and the front desk told me "they never see the rooms" they should take a tour and then they won't even try to rent the rooms can resorts spell" Department of Health"
They need to see it in big letters across there front door followed by closed for good!! and by the way do the parking attendents have valid licences? Don't waste your money

My husband and I just spent a night at Resorts Atlantic City. First let me say that our room was beautiful. We were in the new Rendevouz Tower and it was very nice. The bathroom was very large with a shower that measured approximately 25 sq feet...very luxurious. We also ate at the Camelot restaurant, the service and the food were both excellent. We also had a nice breakfast at the Beach Ball Cafe.

Where Resorts lost points with us was with the service of the hotel staff. When we checked in (which took a while because they only had 2 people staffing the front desk) we were given keys to our room that did not work. My husband went back down to the desk and was given keys to a second room. When we went to find that room we found that the room did not exist. The woman who gave us the keys wrote down the wrong number on our papers. After the third try we were given keys that worked to a room that was actually there. It was very aggravating. Also the next morning we requested a late check-out and they gave us till 1:00. At 12:20 a maid barged into our room (while I was dressing). She left promptly, but 10 minutes later another maid, a supervisor I assume, knocked on our door and wanted to know why we were still there. We explained that we had been given a late check-out, she apologized and left, but I was annoyed that we were hassled in the first place.

There are so many choices in Atlantic City, I don't think Resorts will be high on my list from now on.
