“we got suckered by a Buffett concert”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Ok we are Parrotheads. We figured free show on the beach how cool. Booked a room at resorts for 2 nites. Hotel was old but very clean, staff was great. Mini refrigerator was on the floor. Cmon I know AC is going bankrupt but get a table for it. Because Jimmy was in town the rate for Sat skyrocketed 3000%. That's just uncool. And we were not able to get an ocean view, or a king bed. Windows bolted shut also. Sunday it was 62 bucks. Bottom line its not a bad hotel, just don't pay over 62 bucks!

Room Tip: Call to make reservation. On line we got nothing that we asked for

Just returned from an overnight stay at Resorts - Atlantic City.
Was a great time from start to finish. Check in with Daniel was excellent, he provided great and friendly service. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. It was a nice size room, coffee maker, refrigerator, very nice bathroom, the bed was so comfy. Much better than most of the casino hotels we have stayed at in the past. Margaritaville was awesome. There's a brand new beach bar, great time was had by all there, good drinks, good food, good service and a beautiful view of the Ocean. Check it out!

Hotel guests were very friendly and acomedating . It was my daughters first time being able to gamble and she had a lot of fun, would have been even happier if she won big but overall really enjoyed herself. Loved that hotel was just steps away from the beach. We are going to plan on going back with more family members hopefully before summer is over.

This was my first trip to Atlantic City and we had a great time! After reading some of the reviews on here I was afraid that I had made a mistake. We went with Resorts because I got a great deal on Groupon and I never really looked into the hotel. I had read a few horrible reviews and was a little afraid of what I was going to find when we arrived. We got to the hotel a little early check in is at 4 I went up to the front desk anyway just to make sure we would have no problems checking in. It was simple we were in and out in 5 minutes. Our room wasn't ready so they took my cell phone number and sent me a text to let us know when we could pick up our keys (maybe around 4:30 it was ready) I really had no problem with this we spent the time checking out the casino and grabbed something to eat on the boardwalk. Our room was in the rendezvous tower and was beautiful smelled great and everything was super clean. The bathroom was amazing. The tv was outdated but who cares we didnt go there to sit in the room. We did alot of walking because my boyfriend loves the wild west which was the only part that was a little rough. Margaritaville is nice the casino is very small we didnt play in there at all we just played in the resorts casino. We ate dinner at the Landshark which was great we ate outside over looking the ocean and the prices really weren't bad and the food was great. It was nice that it was so close because it was raining. I would stay at Resorts again for sure and will recommend it to anyone heading down that way.

We chose this hotel ONLY because of the new Margaritaville opened within it. We were given a room on the 3rd floor in the Ocean Tower (sure, it sounds nice doesn't it?) Room 365 with a great view - of the ROOF, HVAC units, parking lot, etc. - you get the picture. We called the front desk for a room with an "Ocean view" but were told those were "first come, first serve" - mind you - this hotel was dead on the Monday night we stayed there!!!. If the view wasn't bad enough, this room was full of a gaudy, grotesque oversized bed, lights that looked like Liberace's candelabras and NO EASY CHAIR to sit in - just two wood back dining room looking chairs!!! But wait - there's more (I should say LESS) as the bathroom was disgusting. It wasn't just the sink, toilet, and fixtures from the early 60's - the floor was wet from the leaking toilet, the sink was missing the drain cover - it was gross, dirty and we couldn't wait to get out of there. Bottom line - DO NOT STAY IN THE OCEAN TOWER section of this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the other tower - don't stay in this old, dirty section called the Ocean Tower...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We appreciate your honest feedback about the property and your stay, and we apologize that we did not meet your expectations.

We’re thrilled to have added Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, LandShark Bar & Grill, 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar and the Margaritaville-themed gaming area to our lineup of offerings.

We're also more than halfway complete with upgrades to the guest bathrooms in the Ocean Tower that you described. We are looking forward to the completion of that project later this year.

Thank you again for taking the time to post a review.

Went to the Resorts in June for a quick over night stay with a little time for gambling. Had attended a 90th Birthday celebration in NJ so that's why we went and stayed there. Luckily our room was comped by my sister - in- law and we had a great view, king size bed, the room was huge. The bathroom was to die for. A separate area for the toilet, a vanity to sit and do your makeup and 2 sinks with a shower in this room.
Went to brunch the next morning @ Capriccio (also comped)$45.00 a person if you can afford it is well worth it if your looking to eat a lot and get real special treatment. Every time we got up they refolded our napkin. Food Galore & good!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 4325 which had a view of the ferris wheel, water view and Taj.

We're so glad that you love our Margaritaville additions as much as we do. There's nothing like a tropical cocktail right on the beach - right? :) We hope we get to see you again soon!
