“Fairly basic but clean and comfortable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Had two rooms booked for one night (comp from Mohegan Sun). Checked in and were given adjoining rooms in the Rendevouz tower. When we got to the rooms one set of keys wasn't working - apparently not all the locks turned over properly after the time change. In less than 5 minutes very nice employees were there to reset it. That was indicative of the service we received from the staff - quick, efficient and pleasant.

The room was good sized & although sparingly furnished the furnishings were rather nice. Very comfortable bed, curtains that fully closed and a huge bathroom. The shower was larger than some bathrooms I've had in other rooms.

The property is old and currently undergoing some renovations. Casino had a decent mix of games. One negative for me is the drink service. Only the highest level of player card members receive bottled beer - for everyone else, it's draft.

All in all - not a bad place to stay. Ate at Gallagher's Burger bar - food was good and even though he was handling the entire place by himself, Louis was a great waiter.

We decided to book Resorts because we hadn't stayed there since they first opened. I assumed they would be on the level of Mohegan Sun here in CT since Mohegan is involved in their operation. Boy, was I wrong! First, it was a comp room and we were "upgraded" to the Rendevous Tower. The front desk person gave us our key cards and wrote 3919 on the holder. Lo and behold, the door wouldn't open! Seems he booked us into 3419 and gave us the wrong number. The room didn't smell very good, and just didn't seem clean and fresh. I enjoy relaxing in the room by sitting in the chair and reading. . .only there was no chair! When I went to take a shower, the bottom tiles had mold and dirt along the base. Breadsticks Restaurant was crowded, none too clean, and the food was below average. We had booked three nights, but left after the first and went to Borgata. . .where the rooms and service are stellar.

Room Tip: Try another hotel. There are really some great ones in AC!

Everything about The Resorts was great, we all had a great time! The food, drinks, casino were all a fun time. The rooms were big and spacious. The bathrooms were clean. All of the workers at the hotel were happy to have us there. There were no issues the entire weekend that we stayed. The burger bar was a great and extremely inexpensive place to have dinner!

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend. I had bought a great deal for it on Living Social. My problem was that we never did get the king size room they had promised it wasn't ready even up to 8:55pm?! The room that we did stay in was fine. It was in the Rendevouz Tower, which was good. We had a good view which included the ocean and the bathroom was really big and the bed was comfortable. However there was a cart with room service food across the hall that stayed there our entire stay(9pm Sunday until 1pm Monday)-which is unacceptable. Our deal included a a show which was Divas do AC and it was entertaining. The pool is closed the month of March which would have been nice to know ahead of time.

we booked the rendevouz tower but got stuck in the ocean tower which was very rundown - we would never stay there again! the bathroom was very outdated. The staff was nice and we did really like the Burger Bar!

Thank you so much for selecting Resorts Casino Hotel and taking the time to comment on your visit. Resorts is in the midst of many exciting changes throughout the property, including upgrades to the guest rooms which I'm sure you will notice if you return to visit us. This May, you will see the unveiling of the Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville brand at Resorts. The changes associated with that project will go a long way to brighten up every corner of the property! We hope you return to visit us again so that you can see for yourself. Once again, thank you for selecting Resorts and for taking the time to let us know your thoughts.
Best Regards,
Stephanie Procopio

I stayed overnight in the new tower of the hotel with my daughter for a cheerleading competition. My room was clean, the beds were comfortable, & the bathroom was HUGE. It was ample space for us to both get ready & the staff was really friendly & accommodating, especially Marie Campbell. I read some of the negative comments that others wrote, but we had a good experience.

I booked a weekend for us to getaway frm work and kids...Im big on reaserching and reading reviews on things I buy and book online.I read a lot of bad reviews on this hotel but decided to go with it anyways.upon arrival check in was easy.. $5 parking but its for the whole weekend...I stayed in rm 552 in the ocean tower.the view was ok but not what I expected..rm was clean n perfect for 2ppl..house keeping did a good job cleaning the next day..I agree it is outdated but its not as bad as a few reviews say it is...I would definitely stay here again..we definitely drove home with smiles on our faces!
