Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.I know that this is a motel but my god is it filthy and it smells so disgusting.We came here with our family and they said there were donuts and coffee in the morning,which was not true.We couldn't sleep at all.People that stayed next to us were smoking weed and drinking.After staying here two nights in July this year,we were either going to go home or find a more expensive hotel.To our luck,we came across Quality Inn Flamingo(stay here if you want a nice hotel and you're on a budget)same price range and it's the 2nd street behind the beach.Never staying here again,what a rip off for something this disgusting.

Referring to the movie "PHYSCO" I say the Bates Motel because, for one thing,expedia said it was a few blocks from Trump Casino,actually it was not walking distance at all.
When we got there, We had to pay taxes even thought expedia said the hotel was waving the taxes because my husband works for the government. They also said there was a complementary breakfast and there wasn't, There was no hot water. The bath towels were as thin as paper towels and didn't go around your body unless you are a size 0. And the bath mat was a piece of paper.
If you go there you are craZY!!!!!!

The place is not the Four Seasons and the staff doesn't act like it is. The rooms are good sized, the sheets and pillows are clean, and the area is safe. I definitely think the location is great, just about 2 blocks to the beach and boardwalk. (I don't understand why the last poster said 10 minutes, unless he can't walk at all) There's a half-decent restaurant across the street.

No smoking rooms that smell like an ashtray! but besides that.... 10 minute walk to boardwalk and casinos, laudromat across the street (very needed if you travel by motorcycle like I did)
