Our stay at this hotel was really better than we thought it would be from reading all of the reviews of the non casino hotels in AC.

The front desk clerks were polite. Check in took a bit longer because we made reservations over the phone, but it was worth the little extra paperwork because we SAVED at least $50.00
for 2 nights by contacting the hotel direct.The room was clean and ready upon check in. The sheets and pillows seemed brand new (sheets still had the folds in them)
No bad smell at all and we were in a smoking room.
A fridge would have been nice, but the clean room made up for the abscence of it.

The neighborhood was fine for us. Nothing scary, no one hanging around trying to sell you drugs or sex. Which we have seen at other hotels on different streets in AC.
Only one block from the boardwalk. We walked to the casinos,
but if it had been cold or rainy it would have been an unpleant walking distance, but it could be done.
The nearest casino was The Sands but they have closed down :(
The next casino was Resorts which was about 4 short blocks, we cut through parking lots and side streets (with no problem, but the streets did not have many street lights.)

During our stay the hotel was under construction/remodeling (for the best) but there was noise. The hard working men even worked on the weekends and they started about 8:45 in the A.M.

Other then the noise from the construction this was a perfect place to stay... for real.
The price was great considering it was Thanksgiving weekend.
The lowest price we found in the location we wanted. Just over $200.00 w/ tax for the weekend.

We would stay again without hesitation.

Stayed here one night in August, half a block to the beach and we loved it. We also enjoyed the free water and light show at The Pier at Caesars (ten minute walk). Ask for a front side room with a balcony, these are the better rooms. Nice clean room, king bed, larger color TV, clean bathroom with towels, overall a good experience. Formerly the Golden East Motel, recently joined the Days Inn franchise and upgraded its rooms.

Friendly desk clerk even held our bags after checkout so we could spend the rest of the day at the beach. Recommended. Much improved motel, close to boardwalk and everything. Paid $89 for one night, can't beat it. But call motel as rates can vary. If you call the motel directly you will get the best rate and they will hold your reservation until 7 PM. Check in 4PM, checkout noon. Free parking.

Overall very satisfied, very nice experience, close to everything.

service so bad and i cannot sleep because so many noise ,vacum noise. knock the door and front desk people so bad ,never go in again if give free stay too never go in forever
