Yesterday I booked a room with your service for my fiancé and I to stay over night at the "El Greco Motel" in Atlantic City.
We checked-in around 10:00pm at the motel. The front desk gave us room #409 on the 4th floor. When we open the door the room reeked of urine. We turned on the A/C to air out the room and went to the hotels for some gambling. We got back to the room at 4:00AM just to find that the urine smell was not gone. I went down stairs to complain to the front desk and the person at the desk told me that it didn’t smell like urine. I said “come up to the room and see for yourself. He refused to check out the smell. I returned to the room and told my fiancé what happened. She told me don’t worry and get ready for bed. When I pulled the bed covers down the sides of the mattress hade blood stains all over them. We got our stuff together and returned the key to the front desk and left for our 2 ½ hour drive back to NYC. That motel was the most discussing place I have ever stayed. Monday morning I’m contacting the health dept. and reporting them. It’s a shame that you have such a place listed in your site. I’m also contacting American Express to stop payment to the El Greco Motel and contact the local news. If you can help me in any while to correct this problem, please do so.

Very clean and orderly. Moderately priced, friendly staff. Great location: downtown, few steps from the beach and boardwalk, close to Hilton and Tropicana. Loved the sundeck!!!! We'll definitely be back!!!

I've stayed at the El Greco Motel in July for a week. It wasn't cheap, but it's a really nice place. Just a few steps away from the boardwalk, right between the casinos. The room was very clean, the motel staff was friendly and helpfull. Close to my room was a nice sundeck with table and chairs, I really loved it. I'll absolutely return to this motel.

First of all, I booked through expedia and the price I was quoted was NOT the price i was charged. Be aware that expedia does not include the taxes and fees (almost $30 more than the price they quoted us). For the price we ended up paying we could have stayed somewhere a lot nicer. The guy at the check-in counter was a total jerk. He only gave us one key and when I came down and asked for another one and a few more cups he acted like it was a huge imposition. The room was TINY. You could hardly even move in there. Half of the lights didn't work and the room smelled moldy. The rug was wet in some spots too. Totally gross. We will never ever stay here again. I recommend the Econolodge across the street. Might be a few bucks more, but at least it's clean.
