We just completed a three-night stay at the Flagship. It was okay. The place was clean and quiet, and the manager (Dorothy) was helpful; however, the concierge and the shuttle driver were not. Like the other reviews say, the elevators are painfully slow. Housekeeping made daily visits to make the beds and re-stock towels, but did nothing else (like re-stocking toiletries, rinsing the coffee pot, providing clean water glasses, providing coffee packets, etc.). This hotel has great ocean views, large balconies and a serviceable, if slow, restaurant/bar. The restaurant hours are short and there is no gift/convenience shop, making the vending machines very popular. The property is a long way (15-20 minute walk) from the nearest casino along an empty stretch of boardwalk. It is a pleasant walk during the day (especially since the shuttle only runs once an hour and the driver is surly); but, I would advise against walking after dark. Overall, the property was fine for the price, especially if you come prepared with what to expect.
