My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Trump Marina Hotel. We booked directly with the hotel and got a very good price for a crystal tower corner suite. Staying on a weekday will save you a lot of money. Upon check in we were upgraded to a one bedroom crystal tower suite without even requesting it. The room was beautiful. It even had two luxurious his and her bathrooms. We had a nice sitting area with a flat screen TV and a dining area with a wet bar, mini fridge and table for four. The air was always cold and never a problem. After having a drink in our room to celebrate our good fortune,we went downstairs to sign up for our trump one cards. We took advantage of a promotion they were running where the casino would cover your losses up to $100. Playing on their dime was a lot of fun. We had tried the marina buffet before and enjoyed it but decided to head over to the borgata to try their buffet, also very good. We then went to the boardwalk and had a few drinks at bally's beach bar and listened to live music. The jitneys are a very easy and convenient way to get around atlantic city. We headed back to the marina and stopped in at the Wave nightclub where they had a band playing 80's rock. This was a fun time. Our bed was very comfortable and cozy with the nicest comforter and linens. The next day we went over to the deck at the marina where we enjoyed watching the boaters dock and come up on deck for a drink or casual meal. This is a nice spot to relax. At night they usually have a deejay or live band performing. We would recommend the trump marina and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was July 17-19. I was please at 4pm that there was no check-in line. The process took less than 5 minutes. Our room was on a non-smoking floor - the 19th. We first noticed the hallway was a bit warm. Our room was also a bit warm, though the a/c temp was set at 69. For Atlantic City casino hotel rooms, ours was a bit small. I didn't mind because I got a $129 a nite rate through AAA. Then we noticed the slight smell of smoke in the pillows. I assume that someone had smoked in this room. OK. Still not terribly bothersome.

I was supposed to have oral surgery early the next day, so I was in bed at 10:30pm. At 12:48 am, the older men in the next room were having a loud argument about their casino play - how they "gambled away everything." This lasted nearly 30 minutes. The walls were paper thin. We could hear all conversation in the hallway, too. The room was overly warm. Made for a sleepless night.

The second day, by 3pm, our room still had not been cleaned. At 3:30, I found a housekeeper and exchanged my towels and hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. I found this annoying, but, ok, could be worse. In bed around 10:30pm. At around 1am, the different folks in the next room started a fight. Two women angrily yelling at each other. This continued off and on the entire night until one stormed out at 5:40 am. The other yelled down the hall "you can't leave - your clothes are here." Then she slammed the door. Five minuted later the door slammed again and someone was running down the hall.

We gave up on sleeping at this hotel. Packed our stuff and checked out. I told the front desk clerk about the domestic dispute and how this had kept us sleepless and the clerk was less than sympathetic saying "hotel security was there multiple times to take care of it." He never apologized.

I have previously stayed at Ballys Park Place, Caesars, Resorts and Taj and if there was any domestic dispute, hotel security had it stopped in moments. I cannot understand how Trump Marina allows this to be ongoing.

  • Liked — location at the marina just across the Brigantine bridge

My partner and I just got back from the Marina and let me say that the most favorite phrase from her was..."they could turn the air on at least"
Our stay started off with a short line for check in which was great....we were using one of deals that they sent to everyon...59 doll a night deal...free drink, 20 doll to play...My luck was kind of blah...i am straight craps for life..and usually I play at the resorts and taj, but this was a chance to try something new...the table was new and the dice were bouncing all over...my partner had luck at the slots with shop and grab.....we then walked around and noticed something strange...everything was closed! IT wa a monday night, right, but the establishments that we had read about were mostly closed....we were in no mood for hooters or the cafe which was a vision of a retirement home (no offense)
Our room was nice, but small.....my partner was upset because the air temperature was not adjustable...to say the room was room was humid is to be nice....we left to hit some other of our fav spots and the difference in air was unbelievable!!!!! As soon as we stepped into the Resorts....it was so comfortable....
As a whole we had a good time at the Marina....it was a quieter environment, much older scene, and thats ok...
just next time - don't be cheap with air in 93 degree weather, right woo!

We went to AC for a girls weekend and ended up at the pricy Trump Marina. What a let down! When we got there are 8:00 PM we went to the long line to check in. When it was our turn we were told that the room was not ready (check in is at 6:00 pm) and that the smoking room that we booked was not the one we would get. (We ended up with a nonsmoking room, on the 25th floor, so we had to go to the casino and smoke.) The hotel advertised that it had a very cool night club... but it was almost empty!! And the youngest people we saw there we in there late 30's. We did end up going to a bar in the hotel and paid way to much for a crappy mixed drink. If I were to go to AC again I would pay a little more to get on the boardwalk. Which the Trump Marina is far from and you have to go though some rough places to get to.

  • Liked — The room was clean.
  • Disliked — The location, there was NOTHING to do close to there.

Returned from a 4 night stay at the trump marina, requested a view of the water which the front desk approved, the view was spectacular of the marina and atlantic ocean. The casino is relatively small, and the slots seem tight. The buffet is about 18 dollars and some of the food was cold. The high speed internet was not working in our room the whole time we were there, there was also an addtional charge to use internet of 12.95 a day which i refuse to pay since most hotels will let you use it free of charge. The pool area was decent, pool water warm, but very noisy due to construction and the pool cafe not open on monday or tuesday. Also, the elevator doors would not shut most of the time forcing you to shut them on your own. The outdoor marina bar/restaurant was nice, good food and drinks, slow service. Best part of the trip was making a trip to the boardwalk, so much shopping, beautiful beach and great night clubs. We either took the jitney for 2 dollars or walked, but you walk through some bad neighborhoods, and it is about a half hour walk. Enjoyed visiting the Taj Mahal/ballys/ceasars, would stay at one of those next time? Overall the trump marina appeared clean and friendly, no complaints about the room exept walls were thin and they are stingy on towels. A nice surprise was the amount of comp points you can use towards food and drink if you use your card playing at the marina. I give it a good review with some need for improvement.
