“Brand new rooms.”

Entire place just renovated. Looks great! Nicer and cleaner than most casinos. A world of change since being rebranded. Rooms are fantastic and outdoor pool/jacuzzi are great. Beautiful views of marina and bay.

Had the pleasure a couple of weeks ago, to have an event at Live (club at Golden Nugget). Our group was over 200 people and it was an amazing experience for everyone who attended. From the beginning, Tara the event coordinator, worked with me to make every single aspect of our party perfect. Then, Maryellen, worked with me on the food until we got 100% everything we wanted exactly as we wanted it. The food was amazing in presentation, quality and quantity! Usually, when I plan these events, I spend the night checking and re-checking the details and having to constantly make sure everything runs smoothly. This was the first time for us at the Golden Nugget and the very first time I got to just enjoy the party like everyone else. Not one problem or concern. To the event staff, food & beverage staff, wait staff and everyone in between, an enormous thank you for making this the best party we've ever had!

Room Tip: I was told every room had been re-furbished and they weren't kidding. It was like we were the f...

We stayed and dined in A.C. to see a concert at the Borgota. We selected the Golden Nugget because of the reasonable price, it was recently renovated and proximity to the Borgota. We were blown away by the room and the service. Several places to dine on the lower levels, we choose The Chart House and had the best ever filet. Service was fantastic, our waiter asked us to cut our filet in the middle to advise if it was cooked to our preference, it was. The host
appeared to have visited every table to check on satisfaction. It is pricey but definitely worth it and the view of the bay and marina was gorgeous.

Room Tip: Didn't need one, the price we got was for a 'non-bay facing' room and we were given one...

My family stayed her this past weekend and it was just horrible, its a very long story but the short version is that the management staff was insanely rude and nasty, trying to blame us for security problems they were having! Did not even care about what was going on and for the things that had happened, a stolen purse and a creep hitting on a child. Security did not seem to care and did not do anything to help or try and find the guy who actually started to follow her around! There was a few incidents that made them feel unsafe in our hotel rooms too, a man not dressed in employee clothing tried to get into the room.Still NOTHING done by security!! I could go on but to get to my point across there are MANY other safer, nicer places then this HOTEL. WILL NEVER GO BACK!

First time at this hotel and we'll absolutely go back. Very nice room, terriffic service at the front desk. Enjoyed the six floor fire pit and hot tub on a cool december night. Just had a great evening next moring we enjoyed the breakfast buffet where the food and service were great. After a few hours out and about we returned to the hotel at 3 for a spa visit...outstanding treatments and a nice discount. Following the spa we enjoyed happy hour at Vic & Anthonys and once again, terriffic service, good food and drink and the happy hour prices are amazing. finished our night with the Gordie Brown Show. Overall it was a terrific escape, great way to celebrate 12/12/12. Check the website for their deals and the spa specials.

Crazy amount of walking from parking to front desk, compared to the other AC resorts. We were there for a bridal party getaway, both the men and women in the bridal party and their significant others. The weekend was a gift from my parents; my Mom had a fill out a form they emailed us, since she wouldn't be there, n fax them a copy of her license and credit card. Everything was faxed...as we drove down to AC we got a phone call that the fax was too dark and wouldn't be accepted. I called my Mom who re-faxed everything. We arrived and waited in a long check-in line. The front desk night manager came over and told us they couldn't accept the faxes bc they were dark. I presented them with the original paperwork n my moms license n credit card. They went back for the 3rd time to talk about what to do. The manager was extremely rude, even got on the phone with my mother and was rude. She agreed to use my Moms credit card and ran it n said it was denied. She then took my fiancees credit card and said his was denied. She ran my credit card and we got to our rooms. Called both credit card companies and ofcourse they have no record of a transaction and the funds were there. The rooms are very modern, small, with wierd decor and plastic furniture. Hotel is not near any hotels. You can see Borgata, but too far for a walk n would have to cross highways. Food options suck. Late at night the only thing that was open was limited menu with high prices. The restaurants are not very good...except for the expensive steak place. Gambling floor is very oddly placed. Would definitely stay at Harrah or Borgata if looking to stay on the marina side. But the boardwalk casinos have alot more amenities and action going on. Never staying at this re-molded old hotel again.

Formerly the Trump Marina, the new Golden Nuggett in Atlantic City was certainly a very pleasant surprise to my group when we arrived in early December 2012!! From the giant neon
billboard style outside wall to the refurbished rooms, suites and public facilities, the Golden Nugget's owners have done a superb job on making what was becoming a little run-down hotel & casino into a First Class establishment. Check in was a breeze - no issues whatsoever! Our rooms were basically new, sparkling clean, odor free, and "roomy"!! (We were not in a suite by the way.) Plenty of on-site parking (December was basically a park yourself free month -- that was nice too) and numerous elevators to whisk you up to your rooms, the casino, restaurants etc.
Got my updated Golden Nuggett card in rapid fashion -- no hassels! Staff was great everywhere!
Casino has clearly marked smoking and no-smoking areas -- and, frankly, as a non-smoker, unless I was sitting right next to a smoker I really could not tell it was a smoking area -- good ventilation and recirculation systems. Restrooms were truthfully spotless!
Food, while maybe a little bit pricey, was more than made up for by the bar servers making their rounds on the casino floor -- just give a nice tip and you'll never have to worry about a refill !! :)
And, I can honestly say I left after my brief stay, a "winner" at the slots! Not too often for me!! :)
Bath amenities were all there, nice hot water all the time, actual working coffee makers (!!), and
no noise heard from any folks "nearby".
Casino is classy now, wide aisles, all set up for the holidays -- so, we had absolutely NO complaints. Still have access to the Marina complex, and there are plenty of banquet facilities, private meeting rooms etc. available. Too bad the weather was lousy!! But WE HAD FUN AT THE NEW GOLDEN NUGGETT !!!

Room Tip: There are 27 floors, so plenty of choices on room locations. We were on 7 and 9, and we had no prob...
