We stayed at the Sheraton from September 9-11. We were on the Club floor. The first room we had 1521 still had soap in the shower from the previous guest. We called and were offered a second room. The second room, 1519 had a large red stain on the floor between the beds and was generally dirty. Now we were getting upset. The manager came up and we all went to the third room, 1515 which was fine. We were credited $50 and were sent up a nice selection of snacks. The Club Lounge was great for breakfast and afternoon snacks. In fact, we had a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon on the second morning of our stay. Keep in mind that it was only supposed to be a continental breakfast.
The beds were comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the room was quiet. It was convenient to the convention center. It was approximately four blocks from the boardwalk, but it was not a long walk. We felt perfectly safe both during the day and at night.
The management was very responsive to our concerns with the first two rooms. Yes, it is correct that the rooms should be right in the first place, but they responded appropriately and quickly.
We tried our luck at Caesar's, Trump Plaza, Harrah's and Borgata. We liked the theming in Harrah's but felt the Borgata was the best.
If you are going to the convention center, the Sheraton is very convenient. We will stay there again next year when the convention returns.
