We stayed here for a last minute weekend get away. My husband and I are not big gamblers.

We enjoy a vacation at a beach or pool relaxing - then spending a few hours at the casino at night. Before the Chelsea that was not possible in AC.

This hotel has towel and chair services at the beach. Towel services and a bar near the fifth floor outside pool. We didn't make it to the beach becasue of the weather, but the service at the pool was great.

The fifth floor was fun. There is a big living room a game room and bar.

You felt like you on vacation in maybe South Beach otr the carribean.

On complaint was the front desk did not give you any info when you check in. I didn't know they had bikes for you to use, I didn't know there was a coffee shop, and I didn't know they have their own chair service -- We had to figure this out ourselves. Nothing informing us of these little extras in the room either. Since we were there only a short weekend once we figured it out it was too late to take advantage of it.

The steak house was great. We frequent steak house here in NY and this was comparable except I don't get the fantastic ocean view in NY-- Pricey but not any more pricey than other steak houses.

This non-gaming hotel right on the AC boardwalk was AMAZING - Four Seasons status service, from A to Z. From the valet staff (the only way to park, FYI), to the front desk, to everyone we encountered - they were great. The hotel wasn't too booked, and they automatically upgraded us to an oceanview room. The room was very nice and clean, great comfy bed, plasma TV, Kiehl's products, etc. Very nice. Didn't touch the mini-bar, so no comment there. Did notice there was no hair dryer or ironing board, but given the level of service, they might fly these in if need be. The "coffee shop" next door, Teplitzky's, was very good. Great food and again, amazing service. I would definitely go back!

For the $125 Hotwire rate we paid for a Saturday night at a boarwalk (non-smoky/non-scuzzy/non-casino place) hotel-- this place was great. However, I would have been quite pis#ed off if I would have paid the hotels $350 rate. Its SO not worth that $$!!!

There are still many pieces of the original (including the old A/C heat units-- interior doors, etc.) Ho Jo's and Holiday Inn-- just repainted to make "hip". Nice place, but not the "lux" brand new rooms that you would expect for $350 if you paid that much!!!

Pros:
-Great location, easy walk to many casinos- & on the beach
-Excellent pool area and services around pool
--No casino in hotel
-Non-smoking hotel
-"New" hotel
-Kiehls products in the bathroom (love them!)
-Real glasses (wine, water, etc.) provided in the room
-Very nice staff
-Nice shower

Cons:
-Slllllllllow elevators (only 3 for the tower)
-LOUD A/C unit! (ours was broken when we arrived, but they fixed it very quickly)
-Parking is $15 (although somehow the charge didn't make its way to my bill)
-The coffee shops' (Telepenskys) service was HORRIBLE. The worst. All 7 tables in the area we were in had SERIOUS problems and the manager was involved. It was almost laughable.
-Not as clean as I would have thought for being "brand new"

Again-- I would stay there again for a reasonable price!

The price was right. They had a room available. So, we booked. We are so glad we did.

My fiancé’ and I just wanted an overnight getaway in Atlantic City. We got a whole lot more. The bed…Oh the bed was exquisite. Perhaps, the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in with a fluffy white down comforter and baby butt soft sheets. The room was very attractive and clean with amazing views of the ocean, boardwalk and bay. The service was impeccable. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and quick. We are sorry we didn’t have time to enjoy the famous 5th Floor but, we did tour it. It looked like a very relaxing, hip place to hang out. Like the rest of the hotel, the 5th Floor was themed very retro, trendy but, not gaudy like other A.C. hotels. We enjoyed a delicious, yet a bit pricey, breakfast in bed. The hotel offered free rolling chair transportation on the boardwalk. This was a first for me. Our rolling chair chauffeur, Mike was a wealth of information as he got us to The Pier Shops at Caesars just in time for a cool water show.

We only found one flaw during our stay. The walls need to be better sound proofed. There were a group of girls staying in the room next to ours. They woke me up stumbling in at 3:30 a.m. I was able to clearly make out their conversation about that night’s events. Very interesting but, I really just wanted to sleep.

Overall, we are very happy with the price, room, hotel, staff, location, amenities, food, service, etc. We plan to stay again so, we can check out the 5th Floor and the awaited Sea Spa with saltwater pool. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

This place is a premier addition to Atlantic Sleezy.

Situated across the street from the Tropicana, it's location is quite ideal. We came down on a Sat during a tropical storm and the whole city seemed to be a little dead, but we still had a blast gaming, eating, hitting the cluuubs, and just hanging out.

Our room was newly decorated and featured some great bath products, so said my wife. A big flat screen tv and fully stocked mini bar added some flavor. The bathroom was done real well, except for the ever popular "euro shower" where the glass is open and water gets on the floor. I can not get away from these shower set ups!

The entire hotel tries to go with the modern style and it certainly succeeds. The 5th Floor is where all the excitement occurs. Bar, restaurant, billiards area, pool.... they basically reserved an entire floor for our guilty pleasures. It was pretty cool watching the huge waves break upon the beach while I enjoyed a pint of beer in the bar. My wife was freshing up so I had a few minutes to explore the hotel.

Service and attention to the guest go really far with me. I have never been so warmly greeted by a valet parking attendant in my entire life. The employees really make like they truly want you to enjoy your stay.

Off the subject, by the rooms do not feature irons and ironing boards. Although the were happy to run one up for me, I was scared that I would be "wrinkled shirt guy" in the club.

As I mentioned before, it's literally across the street from the Tropicana. You can be losing your $20 bill in a slot machine within 2 min of exiting your hotel room door. The hotel is also situated on the boardwalk / beach which is a huge asset.

I am a frequent visitor of AC from NYC, and I will say that the Chelsea will be my new place to stay if the rates are good. We paid $129 via the hotels website. If your in a bind I would also recommend the Days Inn, right next store, which is clean and efficient but nowhere near the Chelsea's quality.

Just want to add - parking was $15, which I think is a complete rip off.

All in all, good spot.
