“The Water Club is spectacular”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

The Water Club is my all-time favorite hotel. The staff is very helpful, the lobby and it's music tell you right away that you are being transported from daily worries to a place where you can be pampered and truly relax.
The view from the top rooms is phenomenal and can also be found at the pool in the spa.
The flat screen greets you with your name as you enter the room, the beds are so comfortable that I didn't want to get out and the desk offered a perfect place from which to use your computer (assuming you want to stay connected to the world!) The bathroom is large and the shower delightful. Robes are provided free of charge and are plush and comfy.
The main pool was nice although the room temperature was a bit cooler than I would have liked. It was beautiful with plants, trees, and a bit of water that sprinkles down, reminiscent of a rain shower. There are towels on the chairs when you arrive, another nice touch.
The spa was very soothing. I took advantage of a Swedish Massage special and the luxuries included. Private his/hers hot tubs that looked out over the water; lots of fresh water, fruit, and nuts; and use of the long pool with lounge chairs and a uni-sex hot tub.
The casino is nice, my problem is that the smoke permeates the Casino and more. Smokers smoked in the non-smoking sections as well. Perhaps better air filters or another adjustment could be made to make this hotel truly terrific!

Room Tip: the higher the floor, the better the view

If you want a great spa vacation, and none of the cheapness of Atlantic City, this is your place. Schedule a facial or a massage and spend the entire day on the two floors reserved for spa customers, complete with jacuzzi, lap pool (with gorgeous view), saunas, etc., etc. and NONE of the crowds and tastelessness of the gambling scene. At day's end, walk through the casino with blinders on to one of the many great restaurants that are part of the Borgata complex. You never need to go outside, never need to gamble. Just enjoy a great quiet and tasteful few days in the last place you'd ever expect to find serenity.

Room Tip: Choose a room with ocean view.

Stayed at the Water Club in Atlantic City in late August of 2012. My wife and I lucked out on the weather because it was 90 degrees and perfect pool weather. I must tell everyone, if you are looking to stay in a nice place to stay in Atlantic City, you will find NO other place nicer than the Water Club at the Borgata. I've personally stayed at almost every hotel that has a casino in it in AC and this place IS the nicest I've been to! The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It also was very modern and had all of the lastest amenities. Check in was quick and the desk staff helpful. I really have no complaints about this place but just a few suggestions if you decide to stay here. First, if you plan on using the pool area, get there early. There are limited pool chairs and you may have to wait if arrive anytime later in the morning or afternoon. There is an indoor pool also and that seemed less crowded. Second, The Water Club's location is not near the famous AC Boardwalk. You will have to drive, take a taxi or the Jitney if you want to get there or the beach. It's not that far (maybe a couple of miles?) but far enough and too many major roadways to cross to make walking a viable option. The property in itself makes up for it's location in the Marina District. The Borgata is actually connected to the Water Club and that's where the Casino and all of Borgata's incredible restaurants are. All I can say more is...ENJOY and RELAX at the Water Club, it will NOT disappoint!

Room Tip: As always, get a room in a higher floor.

Stayed here in late July, as the weather was poor, the pool was closed. Proximity to the pool is supposed to be a plus for these rooms. Rooms are great, great bathroom. I would prefer to stay at Borgata but then again a pool scene means very little to me. My room was comped, not sure id pay 400. I'd rather pay 600-800 for a dope suite. Pillows were lumnpy.

Great variety of games and restaurants, including race book. location is not the best, even in the ocean view high floor room,we can't really see the ocean. I am not big fan of the hotel's lay out, but it is not a bad hotel in general.

If you are in the Borgata Atlantic City you must try this hotel , it is on the same location but still give you the feeling of being somewhere else
The room are big and very nice, the shower are superb with option between regular shower head and big “rain forest” shower head.
The bad sheets are soft and comfortable and the bad support a good night sleep (although who can sleep with all the things the Borgata has to offer).
The room service is fast and tasty; its always got on time on the several time I ordered it.
Both side view from the huge window is nice during the night and the sea side also during the day.
You should also visit the small pool in the SPA floor which has wonderful view and a good escape from all the noise in the casino level.

Just got home from 3 wonderful days at the Water Club. We have stayed there before along with the Borgata but this was great. We had the best time. We did not realize when we booked the room that check in was 5 on sundays. We had dinner and a show planned at another hotel in AC so I called to ask if itwas possible to check in a little early. Although they could they could not confirm it they would try once we arrive. They were great and got us in our room by 3. We were so thankful... The hotel is clean, the rooms are very nice and the pool area is great for just relaxing. I can't wait to go back. The only hink I did not like was not having a frig in the room. The ice buckets are small, but you can ask for a frig for the room according to the room books. I did not realize you could get one till I read the book a day later. The Water Club is perfect for a get-a-way! On another note I was suprised to see a family with small kids there. I did not think they permit kids under 18. I was told this was not an option a while back...

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor. Great views.
