We stayed at the Dreamer twice during our visit to Santa Marta. We stayed for 2 nights before we did the Ciudad Perdida trek and we were able to leave our big bags locked up until we got back. When we returned it was great to relax by the pool, play some pool and have a drink. A lot of people do a night or two in Tayrona also and leave their bags to save taking everything with them. We had air conditioning in our room which we found very useful as it's rather warm up there. They changed the bed sheets after each 3 days if you stay for longer and they smell fresh too which is nice! Staff were very friendly and helpful and most speak very good English. Only downside was the outdoor kitchen being quite small so not much room for more than one person to cook at a time. They have an onsite restaurant that does very nice food which is a good alternative to doing your own cooking.
