Nice clean facilities. Very good location, restaurants, shopping, ammenities at walking distance. I was disappointed because they have two rates for the same room, one if you pay with Dollars and another one if you pay with Pesos. They are taking advantage of the exchange Dollar rate.
Very slow check in.This is not a 5 star hotel at all.

Very well located, this property is relatively new then the rooms are big... A little bit cold.
Very slow check in.
Good breakfast with a variety and the "arepas" are fantastic, ask them with cheese, salt and butter!

When we arrived in Medellin and arrived at the hotel, we were disappointed. You feel like you are in the middle of a California or Atlanta suburb - new, pristine, near a mall. This is NOT a 5-star hotel. Thin walls. No concierge. It is a business person's hotel.

Only good points:

comfortable
walking distance to Calle 10 - where the action is in el Pablado
safe

3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Stayed here for 4 days after a business trip. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was fine, although not the most comfortable that I have ever stayed in. As others have commented, the internet was slow, but I was still able to connect and get my mail. Breakfast is definitely a highlight with lots of delicious options. What I was most disappointed in was that I felt that the hotel was not as convenient as I expected. We had to walk 20 minutes to get to the Zona Rosa area of el Poblado. But this is minor because taxis are quite inexpensive. Overall I would stay here again.

The property is quite new and features large rooms with a comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. It's located in the financial district, but a bit far from the city center and congress/exhibition hall. The restaurant provides an excellent breakfast and decent meals. The downside is that service is sometimes a bit sketchy and that, as reported in other posts, the free internet is very slow.

This hotel has a top location and it is calm in despite all the street activity around. Colombians are fair and attention-ate yet, reception must be more welcoming. Rooms are ok but lack minor details : windows are dirty, bathrooms are ordinary and internet is sluggish at best. If you need some connectivity don't even think to say here. The gym is a joke also. Breakfast is the only 10/10 aspect of this location.

I will not in any circumstances stay here again. In my 35 plus years of travel, I have never been treated so rudely, and this has been the only occasion I have actually walked out of a hotel for which I have pre-paid; I did so in disgust.

It doesn't matter how good the decor or the quality of the food, etc., this does not in any way compensate for the behaviour of the staff. I was made to feel like a criminal by the manager, who as part of that, tried to force her way into my room, accompanied by a security guard.

If I can look beyond that, yes, the hotel is well located, and the room was clean and in good order. Though I had little appetite for the breakfast, it was plentiful and of a good standard.

Returning to the cause of my peremptory departure, I raised my concerns with management, only to be referred first to one then another person, both of whom expressed regret, but neither of whom were willing to do anything to address those concerns. And to make matters worse, I was simply left sitting for an inordinate period while, apparently, the General Manager was being sought out. This General Manager did not appear despite the seriusness of my concerns, and to date, I have had no contact about the matter, despite an unambiguous promise that this would occur.

Anyway, enough said, if anyone wishes to stay here, be warned...
