“Absolute must see when in China”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Our tour took us to the excavation site of the Terra Cotta Soldiers and we were amazed at the scope of the project and how well it is displayed. The whole park area is quite large so bring good shoes and prepare for some steps. Pit 1 is the most interesting, but Pit 2 & 3 have value as well if you have time. Small children might be bored as it takes quite a while to view everything. I did find the circular theatre interesting and would recommend seeing that first to get an all around understanding of the project. The washrooms are few and hard to find so be prepared. It was a fantastic visit and well worth the time.

“A Chinese Treasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

It's truly a Chinese Treasure. There are three major buildings housing the Warriors. The first and most popular one, will be crowded, so wait a minute to get a good view of the Warriors. The other two buildings don't really have much to them, due to the fact that they've haulted extractions of the Warriors in hopes that better technology will help preserve them better. Once the Warriors touch oxygen (for the first time in 2200 years) their color disappears in a matter of minutes. Transporation there is easy, go to the main train station in Xi'an and just take the bus to the Warriors (around 45 minutes). However, bring snacks, its expensive to eat there and bargain (gently and kindly) with the vendors if you want some suivinors.

“Got to see them”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

Really enjoyed the walk about in Xian. Really hot so taking the tram was a good idea even though it cost a RMB. there re loads of people. The Museum has interesting artifacts.
Forget the stand up cinema as you'd be better spent inside one of several pits.

The parking lot can be confusing with so many coaches. My group almost left me behind.
