OK, first clue-look at the picture-looks like an industrial, no imagination, no taste hotel put together with someone with zero imagination and way too much money, right? Let's go inside-it's a typical over-the-top lobby with Kenny G music blasting away. Getting the picture? OK to the elevators, which are strangely split into 2 sections, 2 elevators each. What a stupid design. Now to the room, looks nice at first glance, but very quickly one can see the place was built on the cheap. Surprisingly the bed was western style, but turn on the TV-yup, Zero English channels. Let's go take a shower-and almost zero water pressure. OK time for bed-except the cheap light interlock system failed, and lights strobed on and off all night. Taking out the key card should solve, right? Wrong-still keeps the strobe up. Call the front desk to complain? Good luck if you don't speak Chinese. Quiet rooms? No chance, maybe their lights were strobing as well, but heard people talking, flighting, and snoring all night. Breakfast must be OK, right? By Chinese standards, OK,but no better than a typical 3 star hotel.
Really, if you want a 5 star hotel, go to the Crowne Plaza or Sheraton. If you want a basic economy place, go to Hanting or 268. But avoid this turkey if you can. Really.
