“Great location and good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

The staff was helpful and the checkin and checkout were handled quickly and efficiently even though we had a group of 30. The location is great for walking to the mall for shopping at western stores and eating in some well known American restaurants that kids like. Right near the hotel are some small Chinese stores and restaurants but within 10-15 minute walk is the Times Square outdoor mall, and the metro stop.
The rooms are comfortable and had both a tub and a shower, and comfortable beds. There also were English channels, and western, Chinese, and Korean foods at the breakfast buffet.
Also there is a large fitness room and indoor pool both free of charge. Our event hosted a culminating buffet dinner for 150 on the premises and it was very convenient. We also paid under $100 a night for triples and under $75 for doubles. Very nice staff and service especially for China, good English spoken.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at ever end of the hall, in the center rooms by elevators and stairs are more noisy.

OK-- Maybe a typical business hotel, but is seems new, modern, and clean. I have stayed in much worse in places like Korea. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Someone mentioned the moldy shower, well, I wish they did scrub them better, but only in the very best hotel in the USA have I seen better. The breakfast is a hybrid Western/ Chinese, but definitely more Chinese. I have't tried any dinners here. I would stay again-- definitely an OK value without spending 1100人民幣.

I stay here regularly because of work, since I come to Sz regularly. Rooms are OK, when you do not get a smoking room - which they purify for non smokers and it smells terrible. Black mold in showers (but find me any hotel in China that doesn't have this).
Having said this, generally comfortable with a bunch of good value Korean restaurants around.
Not far from big shopping centre with more good restaurants too.
Breakfast is limited for westerners, but they do have eggs and (chinese) bacon with toast.
Gym is good, but only open after 10am - but stays open until late. Everytime I've stayed the room size has been quite generous - also with a bath.
If they paid more attention to cleanliness - I may even be comfortable having one!

Room Tip: floors 15 and 16 are non smoking.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now, it is a Chinese hotel mainly catering to Chinese although there are also other nationals staying there because of the close proximaty to the industrial business park. Breakfast is not bad but not the same as you would get in any of the so called American group of Hotels. There is a nice Chinese restaurant and good bar food and drinks also available in the hotel and for the price you pay it is good value for money.

Room Tip: Rooms above the 7 floor give you a good view of the surrounding area.

We had a family room. One large bed and a smaller sized bed. The room is spacious, and so is the bathroom. There's a big selection for breakfast, but the quality needs improvement. Location-wise, close to jinni lake, quite far from the city centre.

The room and bathroom are big, well equipped and clean
Was a bit noisy as both the door and the windows didn't seal well
Western restaurant is ok, although at lunch many of the options were not available
Breakfast had much more Chinese options - western were very limited
Tried the pool and gym - locker rooms could be improved
The business center was a disaster - was opened just for me, was charged for, but none of the computers was working properly
Very few people could speak English - only at the reception and somehow poorly
Area around has several Chinese and Korean restaurants, a couple of Supermarkets and a Bank.
Internet was a bit slow

Room Tip: Get rooms away from the elevator area, since there's where the hotel music comes from

Although the rooms are well furnished and the bathroom is beyond reproach, this is not a boutique hotel, irrespective of the high price that one has to pay.
Reception is friendly, but these are the only people who speak english in the hotel.
The hotel is some 20 minutes from the old town, taxis are cheap (RMB 20-25).
The restaurant is poor, at least the chef seems to emulate western dishes from pictures and the Chinese dishes are very basic. On the other hand, the breakfast is lavish, particularly for the Chinese palate. Wine, like everywhere is above western prices.
