We were traveling with a tour group and we felt like we we dropped off in No Man's Land. There is absolutlely nothing within walking distance of the hotel. In fact there isn't even a sidewalk in front of the hotel. Maybe the neighborhood is going through some kind of transition, but for a traveler you need services.
Two other negative comments about the hotel: 1) we could not find anyone who spoke English; 2) the hotel's bar is no longer open.
Positive: the room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable otherwise I would have rated the hotel poor.
