This is indeed a magnificent example of Russian architecture that draws crowds in their thousands. The outside is a photographer's dream, but inside is a real letdown...just a photo gallery with none of the early ornamental vessels used for orthodox services. There is no warm peaceful atmosphere here, so only go in if you want to see some interesting photos of old Harbin along with a huge crowd of people. Admission is 20 RMB.
