“comfortable and convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Not a bad hotel. Conveniently located 10 mins walk to the river and 2 mins from the main shopping street : Zhongyang St. Comfortable bed and warm. Breakfast is a mix of Chinese and Western. Coffee could be better but there is a decent selection of juices and soy. Cleaning staff are friendly and rooms cleaned each day with amenities replenished. Bathroom clean. Great shower. Reasonably priced. But please note that if you are running late for check in make sure you ring ahead otherwise room can be resold. Particularly important if you are there for the ice festival. Nothing worse than looking for a hotel at night in -26!!!!

Room Tip: Pick a room at the end of the corridor at the front of the hotel. Better view and you are away from...

Should have read foreigners reviews, although they are misleading. The carpets are quite the most nauseating and filthy-no vacuuming and covered in stains and millions of hairs. No english t.v channels.Towels thin and grey.Yes,there is free wifi and its near main street.Dont stay here if you can get better. Not much in the eating out dept, either.Everyone friendly enough.

The location is perfect, just in the city center, close to the river, restaurants, shops. The room is OK, bed comfortable, but overall: hotel is dirty. The carpet with many stains (you wouldn't take off your shoes!) and it seems hotel has never cleaned it. Also when housekeeping comes, never refill amenities, never clean well, the shower for example. The maintenance is poor in all hotel.
Staff dont speak English and almost dont understand.
I would not recommend this hotel, not even for the location.

THis hotel is OK. It is in an excellent location. THe decor sligly dated- but OK0 nothing to worry about. I would have thought that a hotel which had a fair proportin of western guests would make a few attempts to make them feel at home- eg coffee in room (not just tea). A little more English in the signs and in the info inn room etc, Al in all a good stay.

I went to Harbin to visit the ice festival and stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We paid RMB 520 for 2 nights, which was a good value. The situation is located 1 minutes walk to Central Street, and zhaolin park, where the lantern and ice sculpture held. The tour desk inside the hotel is really helpful with arranging tour to Ice and Snow World festival including the transfer, but be careful, as the car took more passengers than the available seat (There were 12 of us in 8 seats car). The room is outdated, and the lobby and corridor is too dark. The buffet breakfast have a lot of selection of chinese food but not much western. But I m pretty happy with the choices.
It was a good choice of hotel, but If I m going to Harbin again, I will try another place.

Stayed here for two nights. Convenient to the Zhongyang Dajie pedestrian street (1/2 a block), the river (2 blocks), Zhongshan Park (2 blocks).

Very nice, comfortable, modern, clean rooms. No English on the cable.

Internet in the room could not connect to my computer and a long effort trying to debug the problem with the help of the relatively incompetent IT guy proved fruitless.

Staff very friendly.
