On the face of it the hotel looked pretty good however after having stayed here a few days you start to realise just how dated the hotel has become, not really making it reach 4 star expectations. Its very much a Chinese hotel with only a few western guests staying and as a result most of the staff have little to no English.
The Gym is at best useless with most equipment dated and even dangerous. When I tried to use it the staff had to move tables, mattresses, linen and all kinds of junk out of the room first!
The reception staff are pretty good and can at least speak some English.
The breakfast room is dated and service very slow and poor, though the qaulity of the food is good.
The room I had (a large suite) was nice, but again a bit dated, not what you'd expect considering their official prices.
Housekeeping seemed to do a pretty good job at keeping the room tidy and clean.
There isn't really a business center, just a fax and printer.
There is a pretty decent Korean Restaurant on the premises which I'd recommend.
In addition the hotel has a nighclub on the top floor which I couldn't really hear from the 7th floor and a massage/sauna suite which I didn't try.
To summerise, its OK as a basic hotel, but its not definately not up to 4 star standards and I certainly wouldn't want to pay their advertised prices. They need to totally redecorate, improve the leisure facities and improve the quality of the staff.
