Good place for nature lovers.. treckers. go climb up the hill, some nice gardens, dengziaopings statue and few place to relax. Good for nature lovers and fitness freaks. You can see an aerial view of Shenzhen from the mountain top. Ok to visit

“Nice park, especially at weekends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2012

Hi,
Kites, view point. and many corner to relax.
I came on Sunday by myself. So many people fly kites there. It is amazing. So don't miss the kites square.
It is recommended to climb to the top (10-20 minutes climb) and see the view.
The "Children's palace" metro station stops just outside the park (go to the F1 exit).
Have fun

“It's all about the statue..!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2012

This park is centrally located in Fu Tian and is very near to other attractions including the Shenzhen Civic Center... It is a fairly large area void of buildings and has many trees and grassy areas... Most of the locals go here to walk around with their kids, fly kites or picnic... It is a good look into what daily life is around here when people have free time... If you are looking for some peace and quiet keep away on weekends and Chinese holidays... At the top of the hill ( Chinese call it a mountain = shan )is a statue of Deng Xiaoping who outside of Mao might be the most historical figure of the "New China" and might have also done more for the people here than the other..! He is also known as the father of Shenzhen... This is truly a new city and what is here today was not 30 years ago... None of it..! So, if you find the need you can take the Metro to Lian Hua Shan Station
